An absolute gem
jdf3361on 09/11/2017 23:29I just returned from a 5 day, 4 night stay at this fabulous hotel. The location on the water is stunning, large rooms and a private terrace, incredibly good food a la fine dining, staff that goes out of their way to make you feel at home and even speak some English. I found the hotel very reasonably priced at 160 Euro (excluding breakfast). Breakfast is available on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean at a cost of 21 Euro and was well worth the price. Dinner is likewise served on the terrace and is the very definition of fine dining, yet at a price of approx 50 Euro for dinner and a couple of glasses of wine/champagne. The room was spacious and had all of the basic necessities, was in good state of repair and was extremely clean. There is a spa onsite and I had the pleasure of getting a massage one morning -reasonably priced at 95 Euro for an hour. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city center, however, you can be at the Napoleon House in about 20 minutes walking and there are numerous bistros and cafes within a 5-10 minute walk. There is a full service grocery store about 6 minutes away. I chose this hotel as a result of the reviews and found the best pricing available on their website. The hotel can be an oasis of calm, yet provides a small private beach, very nice pool area and still a nice walk to the heart of the city. Corsica is a fascinating island, Ajaccio a most friendly and beautiful city and this hotel is the "icing on the cake" to make for a wonderful holiday. My thanks to the entire staff who took great care of me during my week's stay!
Excellent option when in Ajaccio!
robertomK3915YLon 06/11/2017 14:10Very good and well located hotel, with a top class pool and a private beach. Service is also top quality, even though eating in the hotel is in general a bit expensive. It is really a worthwhile option when visiting Ajaccio and willing to have some good rest.
Luxury on the waterfront
ditchnapperon 30/10/2017 13:26Lovely smallish hotel right on the beach. Facilities are very high quality although the room was a little small. We did not try the food, but dinner was a set menu. There seems no closed dining area, but tables out in the garden. No separate bar area. Nice hot tub by the pool overlooking the bay. Helpful and kind service. Excellent location, short walk to restaurants and shops.

Seaside luxury on the edge of Ajaccio
