I stayed for 37 days for business in Hubli at the Denissons.
I am fairly critical of hotels and stays but also give credit where credit is due. First of all the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and professional. The rooms are nice and decent sized with great firm beds. I had hot water everyday of my stay. In India that means a lot to me.
The food was good along with the room service. The bar staff service was good. When I had any issue such as the TV or Internet it was addressed promptly.
As a foreigner the only things I would like to see differently, but I also understand, are I would like to see more variety in the breakfast buffet and also for long term stays not have to resubmit username and passwords as frequently for the internet.
I would like to specifically mention how cordial and professional the staff were without being overbearing. I don't like when I have my DO NOT DISTURB sign on and I am still having people knocking or ringing my bell. The staff here knows or has a feel for the service required by the people. I want to give a big gesture of gratitude to Paul for being so welcoming and also helping us with the fireworks during Deepawalii. He is a class act as is Naveen.
The management should be proud of their hotel and staff. If or when we come back to Hubli we will be heading straight back to the Denissons.

I had stayed here for 3 days. I keep travelling to places and i visit Hubli atleast 2 times a month. I have stayed in all good hotels in hubli. But this is one of the worst experience i had with Denissons.
I had a guest who visited me at around 9 in the morning. I got a call from the reception saying there is a guest waiting for me. I came down to the lobby to meet and we had breakfast together and spent time for more than an hour discussing about business.
After the breakfast i had to handover some important documents and so my guest follows me till my room and leave the place within 15minutes.
As soon as my guests leave i get a call from the front desk saying i am charging you extra person of Rs.1200 plus tax as there was a visitor for you. I said it was just a visit and it was hardly 15minutes of the time. Person replies me saying no i cannot do anything now i am charging it and i have informed my manager and now i am helpless on this.
Next day while in the time of billing i ask the person in the counter why this charges? Person replies saying it was charges yesterday and now i cannot remove that. You should have informed yesterday.
I really dont understand thier logic of charging and these employees needs some serious training on handling the guest. They are in a service industry where hospitality is very important.
Reponse i got from this hotel was really poor. When i informed them that this will be my last visit here, the attitude of the person was like i dont care you pay your bills and never come again.
My concern is not about money charged, it was a small amount. My problem with this hotel is the way they treat thier guest. Seriously need some hospitality training here.
Overall experience here i felt like i am staying in cheap roadside lodge where the receptionist bargains for the price and tries all ways to get more money from the customer.

I stayed at Denissons hotel for 4 nights on official work. I was completely blown away with this property in a place like Hubli. Truly an amazing and uber cool, luxurious property.
It offer everything huge lobby, spacious rooms, great amenities, courteous staff, value for money.

If it is somebody's money u can stay ,everything is there,, spacious not inside the room, u can enjoy outside sitting in room ,paying high sum. Very poor service. If u spent from ur pocket ,please avoid.it is worth spending in place like Hubli,

We spent a night at the hotel on our way from Bangalore to Goa. It's about 4 years old but very well kept. The rooms are well appointed, the staff is courteous and Service levels are really good. They pool is well kept and neat. The gym is well equipped. Breakfast spread was good. Overall a wonderful experience. The hotel is located close to the upcoming airport and the highway to goa is easy to access. Takes about 4 hrs from the hotel to north goa
