The hotel needs some important and basic maintenance. Bathtub is cracked and if you stand in you get a free unwanted mud bath. Plastering on the wall falls off and before entering the room you are greeted by big ants. Service and food on the lower end.

I have visited Jaisalmer with family last week. We stayed at Desert Tulip Resort, Jaisalmer. Nice hotel for Jaisalmer. Rooms are clean and well in condition service, food also good. Staff is too cooperative.
One stop : food, pleasure and memorable experiences.

A modern resort built to look like an old palace. Built in yellow stone, it is in consonance with the colour of 'Sonar Quila' and city of Jaisalmer. If better maintained lawns would add to the beauty of place.
Lovely dining room too. The swimming pool is a welcome relief from the heat. Being out of the town makes for a quiet setting however little to see or do. Rooms clean, neat and well serviced.
The wifi does not extend to the back of the complex, which is not convincing in today's digital edge.
The restaurant serves a nice breakfast and dinner with plenty of choices and has kind staff. The main chef Mr Govind was very friendly and served us few delicious customized items on request which were out of the menu without paying any extra money.
Ground staff need to be trained for better understanding and politeness however front office Senior executive are well mannered and friendly.
Overall 2 nights experience was convincing to revisit this place. I would recommend this place for families looking for a nice place to visit jaisalmer.
Excellent Hotel, beyond our expectations

Location is very near to the Highway and Jaisalmer railway station, they serve very authentic Indian meals with mouth relishing continental dishes. The staff is polite, helpful and special mention about the General Manager Mr. Pravin Pathak who makes you feel at home and dose every thing possible to give you a grand experience.
Stayed at Desert Tulip from 7th to 11th October for conference with a group of 27 pax, who left the place with good experiences, photos and with promises to return again. Best of luck to Desert Tulip management and staff, keep up the good work.

Just Visited Desert Tulip Hotel & Resort from 7th to 11th October for my Corporate Conference. Just 10 min drive from Jaisalmer Railway Station. Great People right from booking inquiry to final check-out. Special thanks to manager of the resort Mr. Pravin Pathak for his support, help & gesture shown to all. Special marks to Chef of the Hotel for Superb Food.
Things you need, just name it and the hotel staff will arrange it at most level. All the Delux Rooms are with great ambiance and courtyard views.
Superb arrangements for Conference Sessions, Cocktail Party, DJ, Sand-Dune Stay & Sightseeing arrange by Mr. Pathak.
The Special Suits Kartaal & Algocha are not lesser than any palace feelings.
Its highly recommended place to stay in Jaisalmer...
Sure will be staying here in future.
