We visited in November for 2 nights. The staff are very nice and helpful. However, the room and lobby are quite old and not so fancy but good value for what you pay. The breakfast is good but for the two mornings we were there it was exactly the same. Roof top is only for the exclusive room

This hotel tries very hard and it shows. The staff are terrific and very patient. The hotel is immaculate throughout. We had a room to the back as we wanted quiet but do not expect wonderful views, it is not a priority in Rome. We chose this hotel as it was 10 minutes walk from the 'Termini', which is where all the trains, metro and buses come and go from. We were disappointed at one thing, the roof terrace is not open to the general public and it was one of the main draws in our booking here. We had hoped to avail of it with a romantic drink as we were celebrating a special occasion. The website gives the impression that it is available to all. Also, I hope you don't like a lie in as we had singing maids doing the room service with the TV on in the room next to us as 8.00 am in the morning - we did not think it worth complaining about. A few more little points - there is no evening dining although you can have room service and the bar is an after thought, and limited. There are tables to sit at for a drink but they are more or less in a corridor and not conducive to spending time at. Overall, the hotel is still better than many and these things are minor. They have a high TripAdvisor score for good reason.

Located in a quiet street right next to Roma termini, Hotel Diocleziano provided us with a wonderful room and nice experience. The staff were nice and fluent in English. Our room was spacious and clean with a balcony. Free minibar that is restocked everyday is always welcome in our book. Attractions are at a walkable distance. All in all, a lovely hotel for a lovely city.

The hotel is very nice. Check in was quick and easy. The staff make this hotel, they were easily some of the nicest people we met in Rome. Camila in particular was very helpful.
The room was clean, comfortable and of a reasonable size with a big bathroom. Each day the room was cleaned and housekeeping filled the minibar with a selection of free soft drinks which was lovely.
The food we had for dinner via room service was really good. The only thing I think that could be improved was breakfast. There aren’t many hot options to begin with and the few that were vegetarian would be contaminated due to the set up.
Other than that it was a perfect stay and I’d definitely visit again.

Another fab stay at this lovely hotel. Hotel Staff are so friendly and helpful and all speak very fluent English. Super clean rooms, with extras like toiletries and free mini bar for drinks restocked each day. Lovely breakfast with lots of variety. Ideal location for Termini and easy walking distance to all the famous sites or to the metro for the sites out of the city centre. Surrounded by good local restaurants. This hotel is 5 stars!!
