We stayed here for the day during our trip to Srinagar. Due to recent unrest, we couldn't travel during the day and stayed at the hotel during the day time. A basic hotel, nothing fancy for travellers (specially Amarnath yatris). Had a decent restaurant as well and we'd got good warm food. Wifi was available but we couldn't connect and hence we ever practically cut from others

Budget Hotel near to Dal lake just 7 to 10 min walk , hotel is located in back so you can not see Dal Lake View you can see Shankaracharya Temple road and view ,hotel staff okay and driver was a good person (Abdul) who have given lots of information

I had a very bad experience in the hotel Diplomat there was this so called manager who i found very rude. The Guest facing lots of problem in hotel rooms I tell you 1. Hotel room not clean 2. Smell in hotel rooms 3. 3rd class food and lighting problem. The service is quiet poor because of shortage of staff in room service and dinning area. Also no manners in staff. I tell U in the Food & Biryani we spotted a fly and also it was smelling stale, next morning all our 5 kids and other guest stay in hotel had vomitting and loose motions. we had a horrible next day with kids,I would advice people to avoid such hotel. VERY VERY POOR HOTEL

i stayed there for 3 nights and after all it was not that bad. i am a man of few need so it was quite a value for my money because of advance booking. the room are fine and the bathroom below average but wat more can u expect in a 2 star hotel.the only plus pt is its very near to dal lake but if u r searching for the hotel at night it is very difficult to locate.the manager who was the owner was v kind and helpfull.
in short if u are looking for a budget hotel it is the best and safe as i can assure . it is surrounded by more 2-3 hotels.

I Stayed in this property in the month of april 2014. Being a regular traveler myself i found service of the hotel really pathetic .There was this so called manager who i found very rude. .The service is quiet poor because of shortage of staff in room service and dinning area .So better if you are going to this property .better be prepared for this kind of service.
