Such a great location, about 10 minutes walk from the centre, also near a metro stop.
The rooms are basic, but clean. Aircon was a bit fierce, bathroom adequate. My room was quite small - if I had two large suitcases it would have been interesting!
Breakfast basic, staff friendly.
I give it 4 stars because of location and value for money.

We had to book a last minute hotel for our adult son who joined us last minute in Lisbon (the hotel we were staying, the Hotel Britania, was booked). Hotel Dom Sancho is in a primo location right on Avenue da Liberdade. It’s proximity to Metro, shopping, restaurants was fantastic. Hence, location, location...
However, the room was truly a dump. If we had not already prepaid 225 Euros a night, I would have walked out the minute we checked in. Most youth hostels would be a step up. It was spartan, minimalist, and embarrassing. This place would make a Hotel 6 look like the Four Seasons. Live and learn....

The location is perfect, in the middle of Avenida da Liberdade, 3 minutes walking from a Metro station and close to the Rossio train station. A great place to stay if you don't want to walk a lot without paying much as you do to stay close to Bairro Alto. The room is correct, not small but could be bigger. They offer you exactly what you see in the pictures. The personnel is always kind and helpful. I recommend for cheap accommodation in Lisbon without losing comfort.

You don't need to pay a fortune to stay in the middle of Lisbon for a very big price ! stay like you are in a family house very friendly staff ,clean and good price good breakfast , what else do you need excelent for 2 star !! I will go back !!!

Booked it through booking.com and we stayed 5 nights in the actual bedroom on the main picture here.
For the price (about 70 euros a night in a double bedroom), we were surprised. Not an amazing accommodation, but very well located and it was enough to sleep comfortably. The room was clean, the bathroom a little small (as you can see in the photo I attached), but, overall, it was fine and according to the pictures we saw when decided to book.
My dislikes were that sometimes the wifi wouldnt work properly, and the water in the shower would become very hot or very cold for no reason.Also, they charge for the usage of the safe. The room had a window to an inside area of the building, not a nice view, it felt a little dirty :(
However, I have to say it was a great experience considering the price we paid, the cleanliness and the location. The attention from the employees was ok, nothing special.
Walking distance to all touristic attractions (Rossio, Augusta street and Praça do Comercio).
There is air conditioning, a lift, clean towels and sheets everyday, as well as a vending machine (water, coke, etc). The reception works 24h a day.
Would stay again.
