Good and convenient discount store. There are variety of good over there such as fresh meat, food, cosmetics and household thing. There is 100 yens shop inside the plaza. Bicycle shop, restaurant and slots machine

Stayed two night with family of four. Clean room with air conditioning. Ask to be away from Main Street, because of my two young children they complained about the notice. Walking distance from centro. Staff was helpful and courteous. We tried the hotel food and was not disappointed. My kids are picky eaters and they really enjoyed the food. Just across the hotel you have a taquero which I LOVED!!

This is one of the best budget solutions in Guadalajara. The price is around 500 pesos, the location is excellent and recently they have also upgraded their wi fi which provides excellent connection in all rooms. There may be not a lot of light in the rooms since the 2 storey building is surrounded by the scascraper of the Eco hotel, but the rooms are clean, comfy and silent. And the cable TV offers all most interesting channels.

Hotel is located in city center next to plaza, historic looking. We stayed there one night it was so loud, people with loud music, traffic, people yelling while going by, were not able to sleep at all. Mattress was so uncomfortable.

Yes, without a doubt, and without exception the rudeness of all of the clerks was beyond anything a guest should endure. In an honest mistake, I had a guest come to my room and promptly received a call from the desk that this person was under age and had to leave immediatly. Making a long story short, this person was a friend of one of the son's of a family I have known for years in Mexico. He is 22 years of age. Their remark when I told them that he was not a minor from the room phone is that "we have ways of knowing how old he is". So much for that stupid remark. Having produced his identification, they had the gaul to charge me 100 pecos because he was in my room. Even after their veiled remarks that I was molesting a minor in my room.
Some nights they would turn off the hall lights on one or more floors making it risky in case of a fire in the hotel. One night they let a Hispanic family's children run around the floor screaming their heads off till 9:45pm. I had to be up at 2:00am to catch a flight and got my courtesy call at 3:05 am instead of 2:00am. I must have jogged their mind as I had just carried a suitcase down to the lobby minutes before.
You might consider another place to stay in Guadalajara other than this one. I personally take exception to people accusing me of something criminal because of where their property is located. The child prostitution is the problem of Guadalajara and the Zona Historical District in particular, not mine.
