What People are saying

A lovely hotel with the most welcoming team of staff

Grey_roamers_987on 07/10/2017 17:21

I stayed here for a weeks walking with Exodus Travel. I had a very nice single room with a lovely modern shower. The hotel food is extremely good, we also had pizza and pasta demonstrations which we then got to eat. This is a family run hotel and everyone is so welcoming. Even the Grandma of the family stopped to talk to us . I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff are so friendly. I only used the pool once but it was very refreshing and not busy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and the walking in the area is exceptional.

Quiet vacation spot and pleasant place to stay

I stayed at this hotel while on a self-guided Exodus tour. The hotel staff are far more attentive to the guided tour groups, but all the same this is a pleasant place for a vacation. The hotel rooms are comfortable and quiet, though not luxurious, and the breakfast and included dinners (on the tour) were excellent. I quickly learned how to boil the eggs and deal with the unusual coffee setup. And, I loved picking grapes right off the vines by the pool! A new feature is a tea service in the room, especially nice for sitting out on the deck.

If you are not here with a guided tour, be aware that transportation options can be limited as this is well off the beaten path. Make sure you have a car of your own or phone numbers for car services, and SITA bus tickets & schedules. There is also the Tramvia bus from the center of town, a few steps away, that can get you to the major towns, Pompeii, and Naples including airport. I can't vouch for their reliability though, as I discovered the hotel staff don't recommend them for unknown reasons.

As we found throughout the area, there are many feral cats on the property. They mostly look after themselves, but we found one small and very sweet cat living right by our room who looked like he was starving. He "adopted" us and became our best little buddy during our stay. We ended up buying him cat food from the nearby pet shop (two doors down from the pharmacy) and left it in the vestibule in front of our room along with a note. Please help feed him if you are staying in rooms 532 or 533!

Friendly and fun

Pleasant room with balcony and lovely view. Food excellent. Staff friendly and welcoming and both chef and pizza chef gave us displays of how to make pasta and pizzas in the kitchen. Nice spacious covered area near the pool where we could sit round a big table and have drinks.

Great family run hotel

Jamie Hon 10/08/2017 19:23

I had a fantastic week staying here with my family on an Exodus run group trip.

Our room was small but comfortable and stayed cool throughout the day despite the scorching temperatures outside. Crucially for me the plumbing in the shower was completely on point!

After returning from a days hiking in the 30 degree plus heat the pool was an excellent place to relax with extra provided towels and waiters on hand to bring us drinks from the bar.

In the mornings a tasty buffet offered up all the pillars of a good breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, ham, cheese, toast and most importantly for me: boiled eggs.

In the evenings the food was divine. All authentic Italian dishes and much of them made from local produce. Some of the most delicious Italian food I've ever eaten... so probably some of the most delicious food I've eaten! Me and my sister even got a chance to help make tiramisu and a pizza during two fun and engaging kitchen demonstrations!

To round it all up i'll praise the Hotel's brilliant stuff who were all welcoming, friendly and good fun throughout our stay. They certainly helped to make this a really special trip.

Good location for "Path of the Gods"

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean and spacious but a little bit outdated. Breakfast is served in buffet-style and has a great selection.

The pool is very nice, although sometimes there is a "farm-smell" coming from the neighbor-area. You also have to wear a bathing cap if you want to go for a swim.

With a 10 minute walk from the hotel you can reach the starting point of the "Path of the Gods". The Amalfi-Coast is 30 minutes away by car.

Dining options are limited in this little village.
