The guy that works there is nearly never there, he leaves notes to say he's gone off somewhere. A note can't check you in though can it? Don't count on throwing your bags in and going for a nice walk, you might be waiting hours at the door. There is mould on the walls in the bedrooms and the bedclothes are dirty. Not a good hostel. If all you need is a bed to sleep in that's fine, 8 euros a night. Bit of effort and the right kind of staff could really turn it into a nice place.

I travelled to 11 countries. Stayed in hostels which really were uncomfortable. But never seen a hostel that much dirty. The bedclothes were full of stains and hairs. Worst of all was the smell of the bathroom. There is no even soap in bathrooms. When you ask for, the hotel staff responds like 'we dont have'. The rooms are full of insects. The prices is not like written on website. They make you pay more for taxes. The worst hotel i have ever been. I will not forget that smell never.

Had an awesome time here at the duilio with a few friends, feels like home. Right by the river, short walk to train station. And if it's as hot as it is now there's a great pool 10 minutes walk away. Super sweet Romanian girl running it, may have fell in love haha I would stay here again

Super friendly, very cosy and just all round great hostel! Location is a bit out of the way but who really cares, still within walking distance of everything! The staff are awesome and while the place is small I found it no problem, especially when you pay 8 euro a night! I seriously recommend it
