We were so looking forward to this holiday as we love Lake Garda and visited Salo last year. However, the hotel food was so disappointing that we had to eat out several nights during our stay. The hotel itself is lovely, right on the lake front but the restaurant staff were to my mind not fully trained as they had to ask someone senior if any guest had a query. The limited menu never varied over two weeks, one night they served an almost raw beef burger. Definitely wouldn't recommend and we won't be back.

Very dissapointing not a four star hotel as advertised. Room very basic and small .
Food very expensive e.g.soup €13 portions very small for price
2 days without hot water. The only redeeming feature was that the staff were good

The hotel makes full use of its enviable location on the lake.
It is well run in every way, and the staff are friendly and helpful as well as efficient.
The restaurant is excellent, with food cooked to order, ingredients sourced locally and great attention to detail

Excellent location, short walk to ferry. Our room was at the rear of the hotel overlooking a narrow cobbled alley which is typical of the area. The room was a good size with modern bathroom.
Although no swimming pool there was a sun terrace with views across the lake.
Friendly staff who were always happy to help.

Stayed at Hotel Duomo in July. Great location on lakeside. Right next to ferry terminal. Friendly staff with great food. Large Room overlooking Cathedral square with modern bathroom. All in all a great Italian Holiday.
