Good hotel on the good position

I've spent 5 days in this hotel, this is an awesome compromise between prise and service you get. Hotel is really good located, 10min via metro (wich is 5min walk from hotel) from the city center. Room was cleaned every day by the staff, and we were getting clean towels every day. The only negative thing was really uncomfortable bed but somehow we managed it. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a perfect solution for ppl who wants to rent some cheap place on good location and for ppl who will not spend too much time the hotel.

Hotel was nice and clean. But wouldn't Go back. Due to location & found it hard to find people who spoke English in this area. Also restaurants we went into didn't open till 8pm so we had to go into the city each time.
One of the guys in the hotel can't speak English much which is difficult.
Was kept up all night with people next room having sex all night.
If hotel was in a different location I would go back but it isn't.

I assume this is a typical Italian City hotel

I was in Milan on a business trip for 3 nights. Good bed, clean room and toilet/shower.
Windows could open but the shutters out to the street could not open. Seems like sound travels easy between rooms, as i had a sound of snorring from at least one room. Not enough to keep me awake. No breakfast available, but i was offered espresso and raspberry tart when i left in the morning.
There is no restarant in hotel, but lots and lots of pizzerias around.
I would probably go there again if i go back for work. There was kettel and mugs available but no tea or coffea.

Overall the quality/price report is pretty good

Plus:
- very good price
- less than 5min from Gambara subway station (that is on a direct line yo the Duomo City Center)
- nice, quiet neighborhood with a few nice local restaurants nearby
- they change the towels and leave toiletry every day
- it's open non-stop
- personnel seems helpful, but we did not interact with them very often

Minus:
- the walls are very thin so you can hear everything, but this is true for all old building s in Italy
- the room had old furniture, was kinda dusty and had a damp smell of mold but it wasn't so bad that opening the window wouldn't refresh it
- it was pretty cold in October, but they had tons of blankets available
- the bath was clogged the first day, but I noticed they did fix it the next
- they had this electrical water warmer, which would have been helpful if there weren't leftover spaghetti from the previous visitor

Excellent hotel

My son and I stayed here for 6 nights while attending the Italian grand prix. The area around the hotel is nice and safe, we wandered backnowledge to the hotel late at night on a few occasions. There is a metro stop - gambara - less than 5 minutes away from the hotel, and there is a supermarket right next to it. There is a small friendly bar 2 minutes down the road which does hot snacks. Around the corner are a couple of nice restaurants. The hotel Edy itself is lovely, staff are friendly and welcoming. Not all of them speak English though. They were very helpful and directed us to some nice places to eat. In the mornings we were offered free coffee and sometimes a piece of cake. One morning we were given a voucher for coffee, a pastry, and orange juice at a local cafe. The place is kept clean, fresh towels daily, and beds made or changed. The rooms could do with a freshen up, but are roomy, equipped with a hair dryer, tv, kettle, and a large floor fan which was needed. If I were visiting Milan I would definitely consider staying here again.
