Shows its age, but the location is very convenient to walk around downtown Cuenca
If the only things you seek is a decent place to sleep, shower and have breakfast for 2-3 days then this place serves its purpose well

Great location in the historic centre of the city. Amazing breakfast and realy good service. The rooms are nice, clean with nice bathrooms and some of them have a great view! I was really very comfortable there.

This is a business-oriented hotel, but it worked out really well for my brother and I last October -- and the breakfast buffet were better than anyplace else we stayed in Ecuador. The location on Gran Columbia puts it about 2-3 blocks from the central plaza.

we went to the bar ONLY. The drinks were tiny and the prices were outrageously high!!! Service was very poor and did not improve after complaints by us !!! The bar was empty and lacked any kind of atmosphere.

Great reception staff, helpful in anyway they can be. Free breakfast that is better than most hotel fare. Room attendants cleaned and made the beds and restocked the towels etc as one would expect. Wifi good. Will stay again.
