Check in for this hotel was the fastest I have ever had. It may be because it started to get busy when we arrived and there was only one person on reception.
The room is simple and a decent size. It certainly wasn’t as nice as the ones advertised online. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed is really big and hard, though I slept ok. There was plenty of room to hang our clothes and store the suitcase away. There weren’t any shelves or drawers for clothes, but there was a desk that I used as a place to keep my clothes for easy accessibility.
There is air conditioning in the room, but you can’t fully control it. You have to ask reception to turn it on and off. You can only control the temperature from your room.
We had the buffet breakfast which was lovely. It is a nice set up in the room and a nice selection of food. There were cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants (sweet and plain), cold meats, cheeses, bread, eggs (scrambled and boiled). You can request coffee such as a cappucino if you like as well. I personally really liked it.
For those that may not know, the power sockets are different. I had expected the same as Spain and France. The sockets are three pin (Type L - 10 A) which are smaller than the standard European plug. We had to buy an adapter for our standard European adapter. Surprisingly, we found an adapter in a 99 cent store not far from the hotel.
There is a lovely restaurant, Fratellu Cuore, 5 minutes away. Excellent service and seemed reasonably priced.
If you need to wash clothes, there is a Speed Queen Lavenderia just over 5 minutes walk away. Cheaper than using the hotel laundry service.

My husband and I are not very picky when it comes to hotels and we really liked this one. Our room was clean and the location is great! Located close to the train station and can easily be reached by foot and approx 15 min walk to the main city square. Good coffee place 2 min walk and a great restaurant 3 min from the hotel (truffle pasta to die for) overall the location is great. Some upgrades that would make the stay more pleasurable would be a better internet connection as the internet is super slow and sometimes does not work which wouldn't be much of a problem if the hotel at more then one English tv channel (cnn) we enjoy relaxing and watching some tv in our room when we get back from a long day of exploring and having a few English channels would have been nice. Bathroom was very clean and stocked with extra tissues and lotions/shampoos. We would stay here again.

Average hotel, with a lot of things that have to be improved. 4 stars rank, probably had bern achieved some years ago, in the mean time the poor maintenance of the place had left marks in property. Ground floor interior rooms have no privacy and are very noisy. Quite expensive for the quality of services that you get.

We stayed here for a city break. IT has everything you need , great location everything within twenty minute walk. Breakfast was buffet style help yourself, lovely and fresh and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was little traffic noise but we were woken early due to other guests coming and going and cleaners. I would still stay here again and recommend it due to cleanliness, convenience and staff

Firstly the positives.
This is a nice hotel, nice breakfast, a grand staircase, clean bed linen and towels every day, very close to railway station and city attractions.
But. No air conditioning therefore need to have windows open and this lets insects ( mosquitos ) in. My wife and I had over 50 bites to hands, arms, shoulders and face which became hot itchy ugly sores.
No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
No pressure in the shower and our shower head was useless.
Staff helpful but mostly unwelcoming which I think is typical for the region.
