The most positive aspect of my visit was how nice was the staff. The hotel is comfortable and the food is quite good (except for a dull Spanish omelette). But my first night was ruined because the central heating was turned on, after some other customer in another wing of the hotel complained on being too cold. My room turned into a sauna, the staff agreed to turn it off, but I had to open windows, letting the exterior road noise enter and then when the room cooled down to close the window ... in summary, a sleepless night.

Stopped here for 1 night whilst riding the Pyrenees on a motorcycle. Not a fancy hotel but great all round The evening set menu is very good and lots of locals eat here. Staff great and very helpful nothing to much trouble. Big thanks to Sergi for his help on roads to ride and advice on the local area Top guy.Berga is a fantastic place to stay if you want to ride the mountains so many good roads and great views and only 1 hr out. If it's a dull day and you need the sun head to the coast Roses and especially Cadaques are only about 1.30 hrs away. Staying here you get the best out of everyday The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable and I highly recommend it Paul

The receptionists who checked us in and out were very lovely and sweet - a big thank you to them both!
The room however was not so great.. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned properly, there were hairs on the floor.. The conditioner was broken so we had to open the door but the noise from the cars passing by and loud people shouting outside kept us up most of the night..

Very nice and pleasant hotel, conveniently located, superb views from the rooms facing the mountains. Parking is either public in front of the hotel or on their premises. Lidl and Carrefour supermarkets - just a few minutes walking. A lot of dining options in Berga, hotel has it's own restaurant as well. A bit of sightseeing can be done as well. Breakfast was good. Rooms comfortable, wifi worked good in the main building as well as at the reception. Would highly recommend, good value for the money. If you have free time take a 15 minutes car ride right to Santuari de Queralt located nearby. Go there early in the morning to avoid most tourist groups. Breathtaking panoramic views.

Very good clean , basic hotel with friendly and very helpful staff , good breakfast and amazing coffee. This was our second stay here and was perfect base for discovering the area. Very good parking facilities and walking access to nearby shops. However if you are looking for a room with more upscale conditions, facilities probably would be disappointed as there is no phone, mini bar or fridge in the rooms.
