We travelled from London to Paris to sienna, and this was our favourite. A luxury escapes voucher for a week. Sienna is beautiful. Hotel executive was fantastic. The breakfast was beautiful, the honeycomb was amazing. The three course meal for dinner was beautiful. The staff were amazing, Merita was the best waitress ever, but the two guys were also very good. There was nothing to complain about this hotel, i would recommend it to anyone and would love to return to it

This hotel was recommended to me and when I read the reviews I thought I would give it a try. Honestly I didn't like it. It felt more like a 3 star hotel.
The food was not good, or at least I didn't like it.

If you've ever done a bus tour, you'll know what I mean by my title. The hotel was clean and comfortable enough, but lacking in character and located in an area with nothing else around (a 20 minute bus trip into town, with 20 minutes between each bus - or so we were told by the reception staff). We had a car, so the bus was not an issue, and it was convenient to have free parking at the hotel. The staff were also very nice, and the breakfast buffet was good. But that is where the positives end.
This hotel's main bread and butter appears to be large groups - bus tours and conferences - with extra rooms filled by package deals and special offers. We purchased a 5 night package through Luxury Escapes, as had most other guests we spoke to who were not part of a large group. The cost of the package was ok for what we got, but certainly nothing to rave about, and I would definitely not stay at this hotel for the full price of what our package was supposed to have been worth. The included drinks comprised the cheapest wines on the menu. The included dinner meals were limited to only a selection on the menu, and other inclusions in the package were not made known to us unless we actually asked about them (for example, we were not offered the included airport pick up and drop off, or the tour of Siena). We also felt that we took second priority to the tour groups. On 2 nights, we had to change the deserts we ordered because the tour groups got in first. And on 2 other nights, we were told that we couldn't have dinner until later (after 9pm on one night!) because the tour groups were booked in earlier. On every night, service in the dining room was slow because there was only 3 servers waiting on the entire restaurant, including a tour group each night of 35-50 people. To the credit of the servers, they were always polite and cheerful, despite being clearly overworked.
No doubt the GM of the hotel will take umbrage to this review and respond defensively as with all other reviews, rather than use this feedback to improve his hotel and its service.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel recently and we were pleasantly surprised! The reviews were not great and we expected the worst! The hotel is clean and tidy in a modern style compared with other hotels we stayed in Tuscany. The location is slightly removed from the Centre but the bus and taxis were freely available, and it has the advantage of a free large car park. I would say this was not my favorite hotel on our tour of Tuscany but the hotel standards appeared to pretty high in the region for this price range!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Executive.
We enjoyed this hotel. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful.We stayed in a deluxe room which had plenty of space and was very quiet.There is a bus stop at the front of the hotel and you can purchase the tickets at reception,which made it easy to get to the centre of Siena and back.
We enjoyed most of the meals in the restaurant and breakfast was good.
There are a few things that could be improved to make this a really great hotel: A proper bar would be good, the drink service wasn't good,sometimes had to wait 30 mins or more for a drink.
On two occasions we received the wrong meals in the restaurant and once sat waiting for 45 mins for our deserts and they never appeared.The hot water in the shower doesn't have very good pressure.
I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay
