If you are coming from the US and are not sure where to stay, this hotel can be a good choice. Super inexpensive, quiet, decent service, dated, but clean. Located right in the middle of the city. Convenient to everything.
Comes with a great breakfast buffet -- something like $5/day or get a deal on Expedia. In general, the hotel restaurant is pretty good and again, by the US standards not very expensive at all.
Think of a smallish chain hotel in a small city in the US and you'll get the feel for this one.
No one speaks a word of English at the reception, and it can be a problem, even with Google Translate. Don't make your reservation through the Wyndham website -- they will charge you twice, but will fail to send your reservation to the hotel. Instead, go to Expedia and get a deal with breakfast included for a couple more bucks per day.
The internet is free and is very decent -- no problem working from the hotel room.
Maids are excellent especially if you tip them a little.
Overall, I've stayed there twice in 2016 and would come back.

I think the hotel has the luxury you pay. The service is good, but they could have a better swimming pool. It is a hotel more for bussiness. But it has the good thing that it very near of downtown Culiacan, Cathedral, they have a good breakfast too, but a little expensive. You can walk around the city. Near there you can find a park where is the statue of the fighter Julio Cesar Chavez, a legend on boxistc mexican history.

We stopped for one night in this hotel, on our travels back to Canada. The room was dated, the bed was pitiful and the internet was all but non-existant. The front desk staff were helpful and the parking was secure. There had to have been a better hotel, but we were too tired to change. If you need to stay in Coliacan - pass on this hotel.
