Fairmont Hotel is good budget hotel located at busy convenient location- Gandhi Road in Darjeeling and not very far from the busy market. The Chowrasta Mall is about 5-6 minutes walk from the hotel. The Mall is the most happening place in Darjeeling. The hotel rooms are compact, decorated, neat & clean. The hotel is located at considerable height from the main Bus stand and Sumo Station as such either one has to hire porters for carrying luggage from Sumo station to hotel or take a taxi, which charges exhorbitant as it has to follow long one way route to reach the hotel. The hotel isalso located at a distance from Darjeeling Himalayan Railway station. Overall it is a nice clean hotel located at convenient location at Darjeeling.

We have stayed in June 2017 for 3 days in a super deluxe room. The room is spacious enough for 3-4 persons & neat & clean.very good location, and also provided car for sight seeing but there charges are little higher than other. Taste of food/Breakfast is not too good.Taste less tea provide in Hotel, even Darjeeling is famous for their Tea garden. Hotel only charge for rooms but other facility they found little poor. We Ask only All Out for mosquito protection in room but staff clearly denied also WIFI facility only mentioned but they wifi not worked on all floor.

Came here and found a room instantly. Good, nice and clean room. Worth the price. Recommended for all, friends and family. Nearby places include mall, DHR station. Nice ambience. God location. Well done.

Standard hotel, with 24 hrs hot water in tap. Rooms are spacious, average room service. They even charged 15 rs for boiling milks provided by us. They accept card payments, very good location, and also provided car for sight seeing.

We have stayed in Oct 2016 for 2 days in a 4 bedded room. The room is spacious enough for 4 persons & neat & clean.We had good view of mountains through the only window available.Hot water is available for 24 hrs & it is really very hot all the time.It is located in a central place & convenient to visit all the places.The only problem is parking of taxi in front of hotel as the road is narrow near the gate but the hotel staff are helping to unload the luggage & there is no restaurant.Lot of hotels are there in the near vicinity.The management is very helpful to their customers & it is economical too for the facilities available.
