this small, but This quintessentialy Italian hotel is run by a friendly family who will bend over backwards to give you whatever you need to make your stay run smoothly.
Food is simple, but gooooood!
English speaking staff help the non Italian speakers

This family run hotel in a quiet location is well worth seeking out.The views from our bedroom out over the surrounding hills, countryside and of the old town were very striking.
Family members were very helpful, going out of their way to advise us about local walks and provided us with useful information for our travel plans in Calabria.
Very adequate breakfasts prepared and served by the proprietress who is from Chicago, so language was not a problem!
Altomonte is a very relaxed small town with extremely friendly shopkeepers and locals who toot their horns to say hello when passing by! We hope to return someday to visit the Jazz festival
that's held here every september.

After your through with all the popular places the tourist visits , you should stop at this hotel if you want to experience the reality of Italy. The people , food, atmosphere and Italian life are real. Clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful views of the city. The people who run the hotel make you feel your part of the family and cummunity. A smile and friendly greeting everyday from the staff makes you wish you could stay longer. As for the food, well, its just something else that makes you want to remain.
