Stayed here for second time and it was again fantastic, nice large luxury rooms, extremely well equipped, great wifi and air con, underground car park, this is our favourite Hotel in northern Spain.
The staff are great and the Hotel is so well run, e.g. we reported a very minor problem with the shower head; their maintenance man arrived in 3 mins and had it fixed in 5 mins!
Wish there were more of these in other parts of Spain. Will definitely revisit when next in NW Spain. Loved it.

Booked a room for a paraplegic and told room would be suitable. Firstly there is no way to enter the shower with a wheelchair and neither is there a suitable seat in the shower. We were offered selection of stools, plastic chairs and dining chairs from the cafeteria what a joke!!! Where is healthand safety, an accident waiting to happen. There is no way a paraplegic can get to use the toilet. My friend is a big guy and did his best to take his weight but the position of the safety bars is all wrong there is no room to put the chair at the side of the toilet and the seat is of such poor quality it came away. Needless to say the bathroom was a complete mess by the time he had finished and he was a nervous wreck. It took 2 hoursfor him to calm himself enough to go to bed. We have2morenights here andlord knows what isgoing to happen when he needs to go again. This hotel needs to review its policies for helping the disabled. The saving geace was that the staff did their best to help.

I stayed here during a conference and shared a room with a friend who was also at the conference. We had a very nice room and good bathroom. The only windows opened onto a large internal shaft, but you could draw metal shutters down over them. This sounds worse than it really was. There was a cafeteria/bar with light evening meals and the usual modest breakfast. The lobby was very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. I would be happy to stay here again.

Nice rooms, nice staff, good location. Great that you can park the car. Good to explore the city and it's people. Nice fitness center and breakfast. It was recommended to me by locals and they were right.

I was walking the Camino in May when the weather made a turn for the worse. For 10 consecutive days it rained. If I were young and hardy I would have kept walking, but instead I found hotels where I would be dry and secure. One was the Hotel Francisco II. For three days it was my shelter from the incessant rains. I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, the location close to restaurants and shops, and the features of the hotel. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and the bathroom satisfactory. I had breakfast at the hotel and drinks in the cafe. Although the location is not close to the river the access to the city center is a great feature. The price was reasonable and there is a laundry right across the street if you need to have some cleaning done.
