I book almost all my hotels after checking with TripAdvisor. This one rated well and we were not disappointed! The views from the room balconies we booked were fantastic with snow-capped Alps in the background.
The receptionist/breakfast/do-everything person was simply the most courteous and accommodating individual we have met at a hotel in Europe through our several years of travelling here. The spa and exercise area were great and the rooms were very comfortable and homey.
Recommendations for meals by the receptionist were top notch and on target. Breakfast, prepared by the receptionist, was one of the best we had during our month-long adventure throughout 8 European countries.
The only fault I observed was slight: there was a problem with the steam sauna but the receptionist worked to get it operating, but couldn't till the following day.
This is a GREAT place to stay and the receptionist, the only staff we ever saw, perfectly covers the duties of a normal staff of 6. A simply amazing person that was cordial and modest in every way! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Extremly nice and familiar Hotel.
Limited number of rooms and in a very quiet area, but still Close to Salzburg centre (10 min. by car) and very Close to the motroway (5 min).
Almost all rooms with balcony and limites Sauna area with Sauna and steam bath.
Extremely nice staff.
Late Arrival would have to say upfront as Hotel is only staffed till 09.00 p.m., but a room key safe number will be provided!

My husband and I stayed here two nights, a few weeks ago while on our European vacation. We wanted to find a small town outside of Salzburg, and just happened to stop in Anif. We are so glad we did! The town itself is very cute with pretty chalet style homes and several small hotels.
We managed to get the very last room available at the hotel, and just loved the very large, updated room with balcony that had an amazing view of the alps. The room was extremely clean and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was awesome! Very modern and appeared to be recently updated. Huge glass walk in shower with rain shower head. Nice sized vanity too. The toilet was in its own room. Wifi was good, and we were very happy to get CNN on tv, too!
The breakfast room was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful! Yogurts, jams, cereals, fruit, sliced meats and cheeses, bread, hard cooked eggs and more.
Service was very friendly both there and at the front desk.
We loved our stay so much we decided to spend another night there. Unfortunately we had to move to another room, as ours had been booked. It was a very small room, and while updated, with a nice (but smaller bath) there was just one tiny window and NO ventilation. Note there is no air conditioning in the hotel. The first night in the large room, we had a wonderful breeze from the open balcony door and open window. Our room was not hot at all. Not the case with the small bedroom. It was stiflingly hot and not so much as a breeze. Needless to say, sleep was very difficult. A fan would have helped, but the hotel didn't have any available. If we'd ended up with the small room the first night, we wouldn't have stayed an additional night. Temps were in the mid to upper 80's and quite humid while we were in Austria, and a/c would have been so appreciated.
Overall this is a gorgeous hotel, it's just too bad they don't have a/c. If they did, I would have given 5 stars for sure!

I had a nice stay of 2 weeks at this hotel, I traveled for business. The staff is very helpful, breakfast is excellent. There are few restaurants around to pick from and the spa and the heated pool are definitely a plus.

My week long stay at the Aniferhof was a fabulous one. The staff spoke a multitude of languages and were wonderful to talk to.
The bedrooms are spacious and modern, with an incredible view of Untersberg.
The breakfast provided was fantastic, and the coffee perfect to start a long day of exploring the nearby areas.
This bed and breakfast was centrally located, had excellent staff, and I would give it a high recommendation for anyone from couples to families.
