Nice hotel bur noisy due to construction
EarlFlorida2on 06/06/2017 14:00Comfortable and spacious room, helpful staff, good WiFi, easy walk to Old Town with plenty of cafe and shops. 20 minute walk to train station (do not believe the hotel's "only five minutes"). Good rates with internet bookings.
A good choice

Nicole von 27/05/2017 15:29I stayed here for 4 nights during a conference. The room was spacious and clean. There was a welcome basket with fruits, which I found a very nice and welcoming gesture of the management. It had good Wifi and airco. The breakfast was more or less standard, with bread, croissants, cheeses, meats, fruits, juice, and some cereals. It was close to the city and the train station. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Overal the price-quality ratio was very good. The cafeteria next to the hotel had good coffee, for a very reasonable price.
One of the best hotels in Spain
DJFGWon 02/05/2016 10:22I have been visiting this hotel for almost 20 years and it never disappoints. It's location is in easy walking distanceof the old town. It has a reasonably priced garage. The rooms are very comfortable and there is a structured upgrade in progress. There is a restaurant with a very good daily menu as well as a la carte and there is a cafeteria that attracts the full range of local inhabitants.
However, a hotel is only as good as its staff and this is where the Galacia Place truly excels. Reception, restaurant and bar staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.
In this part of Spain I would never think of staying anywhere else.

Maura Con 10/04/2016 19:36I travel a lot and this hotel us nowhere near the 4 star standard I have come across anywhere else in the world. I have stayed in better equipped and more comfortable hostels. It is totally overpriced; the walls are thin so it's noisy at night; the tv didn't work;the breakfast is mediocre at best with cheap supermarket generic cold cuts and low quality cheese;the staff were totally unhelpful;the room didn't have a duvet - only an old, unwashed blanket; there were no toiletries beyond a cheap gel that doubled up as a shampoo. Absolutely awful! All this for 90 euros with no breakfast.
Ok for a one night stay
EXPATMANon 16/08/2014 11:46Located in the centre of the city this hotel is ideal for a one night to look around the area. The staff are friendly. The room was showing its age a little but was comfortable enough although the bed was a bit hard. The breakfast was poor but then you don't pay a lot for it so you cannot expect much.
