If you are looking for a clean and simple place in the fort. You can get a nice view from the roof top but you can share the pleasure with granny that sleeps on top because of the heat.
The place is clean, the owner is super helpful and friendly and his dad is super sweet.
Family business... And they make you feel at home in the middle of the desert

Very welcoming, great value for money only 250 best hot shower we had in three months, brilliant roof top resturant, cinnamon chai and banana lassi. Good size portions, stuffed tomato very yummy. Not inside the fort but only 3 min walk and maybe for the best as not noisy.the staff are very very friendlyand took good care or us

Hidden in a narrow street outside the fort, it offers a very quite stay. Mittu, the hotel manager is a nice guy, who will help you out with everything - good rate money exchange, bus ticket, camel safari... And, he's even a very good cook. There's a tiny restaurant on the roof. Give it a shot, it's worth it.

We stayed here after booking a camel safari with Ganesh travels (I highly recommend the safari too). Booking the safari we we offered a room at their hotel for 150Rupees for a couple and 100Rupees for a fellow companion on his own (without bargaining - low season).
The value for money cannot be overstated!
This hotel is not in the fort which is what we wanted, given the fort is sinking with excessive water in the drainage system due to over-population within the fort - PLEASE do your bit by staying outside the fort.
There is a rooftop restaurant with a view of the fort and if you're off on a camel safari you are conveniently already at the meeting point, After the safari, if you go through ganesh you can come back for a free shower / nap, and they'll take care of your bags while you're away too.
The staff were excellent. The room itself was basic and could have been cleaner but for the price you won't be worried.
