Situated in a prime area in front of the Alcazar and in the centre of the old town. It is furnished in old Spanish style but the bedroom was quite adequate and the beds comfortable. We were given a room at the back with a balcony which we thought would be preferable to the front on the main road. But as the air conditioning wasnt working properly on a hot night we left the doors to the balcony open. Unfortunately just after midnight the people in the next room returned and sat out on their balcony chatting and smoking for quite a while with the cigarette smoke wafting into our room. We didnt have breakfast so cannot comment although the hotel was very busy both days with Japanese tourists so it was so crowded we didnt bother. It could be a lovely hotel with a lot of updating and some soundproofing. Another plus for the hotel was that the Red tourist bus started just outside. That is the best way to see all that Toeldo has to offer.

Very clean, free WiFi and excellent reception. Walking distance to all historic sites and tourism transport. Plenty of reasonable priced restaurants and cafes nearby.
Breakfast buffet slightly quirky, spaghetti and meat sauce probably not something you would expect but plenty of other choice.

High quality hotel in prime location but starting to need a renovation. We stayed in a superior room on the lower level. Lots of space but the wall papers were worn and the strange round bathtub (not a jacuzzi) combined with shower was a bit dangerous to climb in and out of. The safe didn't work and no other solution was offered, so we had to carry around more stuff than wanted. The breakfast was not good at all with mere basics and didn't feel fresh. Parking is offered with a small discount in a nearby 24 hour open garage. Stay here if you find a good offer, not worth the list prices.

A perfectly good hotel in what I consider a good position on Toledo since I was here in business and need a good nights sleep, which I had
Good reception staff but same can not be said of the restaurant. On my final day there the breakfast had been stripped bare by two parties of Japanese tourists. I was lucky to find the only table that was NOT reserved for these groups. The same can not be said for the visitors who came after me
Much as I appreciate the difficulties of catering for such groups it's not my problem as a customer who has paid for breakfast, to find certain essentials missing. One being yoghurt. Like many people I'm gluten intolerant so rely on this . When I dared to politely ask for some at first I was ignored and then roughly and rudely told 'its finished'. Not good enough I'm afraid. Despite the range of breakfast dishes ( on a good day) they were mainly of very poor quality
Apart from that, I enjoyed my brief stay

this quaint, small hotel is in a great location for our time in toledo. the front desk gentlemen were helpful in dinner suggestions. our room was small but very comfortable. breakfast spread was a great way to start our day. they stored our bags while we enjoyed a very full day of seeing the city. it was a short taxi ride from the train station.
