Splendid place to stay while in Dolomites! Best value for money!

I stayed in this magnificent hotel with my wife and 3 children for 2 nights end July. We were welcomes by the kind hotel staff. Check in process was fast. we were provided with all the information we needed on hotel amenities and attractions around. We stayed in the spacious very well equipped and decorated Sonja suite. The suite was so nice, a lot of wood elements. A lot of space for all and nice view to the mountains from the window
The hotel itself is so nicely decorated and has tons of character. You really feel you are in like a typical Tirol house, and we were blown by the beautiful art decor done there.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is superb! We especially liked the apple pie, pancakes and the other cakes which we felt were home made and were so fresh and tasty. Also the variety of other things was large.
The Jacuzzi in the outdoor part is a great relaxation at the end of a busy day touring the area, and there are also two great Sauna rooms (dry and wet) with lights and relaxing music.
The hotel is in a perfect location, and another great advantage is the val di fiemme card which is provided to you at check-in, and that lets you free rides to the Alps in the valley. We used it to climb the wonderful Alp Cermis, and the Alpine Coaster in Gardone. Alp Cermis is just 3 min drive from the hotel, and the Alpine coaster is just 15 min away.
Other attractions in Dolomites are not far, as Val Di Fiemme has a central location in Dolomites
We also found it charming the hotel is located in the middle of the nice town of Cavalese, yet being so quiet.
We liked being with the locals, visiting the restaurants and the nice shops which were all 50-100 meters from hotel.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Dolomites. We cherish these nice days at this little piece of heaven, and would definitely not hesitate to book it again if we ever arrive again to the area.

A hidden gem you should not miss

The Laurino is a historic building from the 17th century but mostly renovated. We asked for an upgrade and got a suite for a little more money. The room was spacious with a nice modern Tyrollean romantic decoration. The interior of the house is absolutely great with the old villa styles well preserved. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Tirol. Some assets worthwhile t mention: Great wifi, plenty of parking lots, located in the middle of the old town center and very friendly hosts. All in all an awesome place with very good value for money.

This hotel is comfortable and extremely well-managed. With their copious breakfast (10 types of juice including freshly squeezed varieties) and afternoon snack (ah, the homemade strudel!) you will only need dinner at one of the world's finest resraurants-El Molin-only a 5' walk away. There is a spa with a large outdoor hit tub, a turkish bath and a sauna-all included in the price. Highly recommended!

Perfect winter vacation

We spent in this hotel one week beginning of February, family of four.
Hotel is really nice and pleasant, very well decorated with a lot of attention put into every detail.
Located in the center of the town with walking distance to all city attractions, restaurants and to the cable car. The place is very quiet and also hotel inside is very calm and intimate. Each room in the hotel is designed with great taste, full of wood, pillows and decors and you can see care and love put into that Hotel.
There is small but lovely and charming wellness center (our kids loved outside Jacuzzi).
Originally we booked an apartment which is located in front of the hotel building, but after a day Elisabetta proposed us the Fiocco di neve apartment in the hotel building downstairs near the sauna because some other guests just canceled the reservation. That was something unexpected and really appreciated by us. It was more convenient for us having two small kids within our family and we would recommend that apartment for families.
The breakfast was just wonderful, very large selection of delicious, homemade sweets, fresh juices and local products, all served in very nice decorated breakfast rooms in the first floor. There was something for every taste, simply fantastic!
In the afternoon there were some small sweets, fruits and drinks available (free of charge), all very tasty and homemade.
Staff in the hotel was very helpful & friendly as well, I asked many questions before arrival via email, all of the were answered very quickly. During the stay we got as well many "local" tips and advices.
You could feel such a warm atmosphere in the hotel, during our stay we felt almost like at home!
The only think we could complain about was not enough Italian sun during our 7 days stay :)
We hope to go back again next year...

What a jewel

Wow! The booking was very last minute done by the Amex service, but what a find. The lobby, breakfast room and hotel rooms are decorated in a chalet chic style with a lot of attention to detail without it being "too much". The hotel is very close tot the centre of town and still absolutely quiet - just a small river behind the house. Wonderful. Rooms are very spacious. The breakfast buffet was for a small hotel like this fantastic! There was something for every taste. I so so so reccomend the Laurino.
