This hotel is present at an interesting location. It is about 500 m from the main road - but once you reach here - you will not feel like you are this close to the main lonavala market.
We had visited this hotel for our cousin's wedding. The hotel had good, clean rooms. A small but beautiful pool and the decor felt mahal-like. Overall, a good place.

We stayed for just one night. The hotel was relatively comfortable for the price they charge during peak monsoon season in Lonavala.
Rooms were decent - comfortable bed. But the fridge was not working and there was no safe. The bathroom did not have a glass or curtain separating the bathing area. But these were small things that can be easily rectified.
They have a good pool (regular size and for kids) with a small play area for kids. They also have a garden area next to the dining room which I believe can be developed into a kids play area, badminton court etc.
The staff was very friendly and brought any items you needed almost immediately...
The food is vegetarian but extremely good! Probably one of the best aspects of this hotel. There is a good buffet spread and you end up eating more that you should! This is included in your package but they do give you an option to take the room without food in case you want to eat out...
Also, the hotel is located very close to the main attractions in Lonavala (same road as the Citrus property) so quite convenient.
Overall, Gautam is a good hotel to take some time out. In case you are looking for a valley view then this is NOT the hotel to go for, but if your criteria is a relaxing holiday with good food which does not hurt your pocket, then you can try this property

This is a nice hotel. It is quite near to the Lonavala railway station.
- The hotel looks really royal.
- Over package included food and it was good. They only serve vegetarian food.
- The pool is decent size and nice. They have kids section of the pool as well.
- There is a play area for kid as well but its very small; just 2 slides and 2 swings. The slides are also not in a very good state.
- The rooms were clean. Ours were on the first floor and they have a balcony. It was very pleasant to sit in the balcony early morning.
- The place looks nicely decorated during late evenings with the colourful lights.
Some cons:
- There were other groups who were openly indulging in alcohols in the open area even though the signs said it was prohibited. The group was well behaved but it just becomes a concern if there are other such groups who can become problematic.
- The place has a extra charge for kids from the age of 2. To me, it quite absurd to charge for a 2 year kid.

Tell me if it were the incessant rains on weekend or tell me if it was great company of family and cousins (33 of them) that made it memorable.... Whatever it was... It was just perfect.
This is a hotel which apparently is 8 years old. But I didnt know that its there... since lonavala is not something we usually hang out at. This hotel is made like a Rajasthani architecture. The Vegetarian food quality and quantity is awesome. The rooms are just about right ... The theme of hotel , with the way its made... makes up for some special moments with a group of friends or families..
Definitely recommended to anyone who wishes to spend good time at hotel.
Pool is good... Staff is very friendly...
All in all, amazing time spent at hotel with our familiy.

This is a best lonavala. Is it litetally 3min walk from railway station. Amazing ambience, food is like a grand buffet for all type of generation. For lunch it had roti, puri, 3veg, dal, 2 farsan, rice, buttermilk, sweet dish.similarly dinner wad grand with pasta, noodles, pulav, choley etc... trust me guys super great place. Service was super fast. Amazingly amazed.
