Stayed for one night, thought would be nothing wrong to sleep one night even in mention of bad comments. We were wrong. Small dark room on the first floor, thin walls, window with graters made possible to hear and see great ammount of sitting on the streets afroamericans and girls with dark souls even at 4 p.m. Awful wi-fi. Were so glad to get away the next morning. Pay more, really, but never stay here.

Stayed one night during a drive through trip. Had a twin room, with shared bathroom. The room and bathroom were clean, and you get what you basically pay for.
However, it was a very warm period and the room did not have any air con. We had one standard floor fan to share between the two of us - it did not cut it.
And as for the neighbourhood, well that's an entire chapter on its own. Although Genoa (as Italy in general) is generally safe place for tourists, with friendly locals, this area made me still feel very uncomfortable.

There’s a lot of negative reviews on here about his hotel, but it really is a budget hotel and the saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’.
For me, at €40/Night for a twin room was absolutely fine. We shared a bathroom with others and didn’t really notice the outside noise much.
There was no air con and August is pretty hot in Italy so this was a mistake on our part.
The location is a little seedy but not dangerous. Italy is a pretty safe country (bar the driving) and the groups of people on the street and the prostitutes (legal) don’t generally bother anyone.

Broken bed. Broken shower. Broken toilet door. Worst pillows ever. That isn't even the worst part of the hotel.
You cannot get to the hotel without walking small dark alleys that contain groups of young men trying to get your attention or prostitutes looking for work.
Have to be back at the hotel by nightfall when the loud music from outside starts and doesn't finish till late.

On the picture it looks nice, in real it doesn't that much. It's clean and has pretty good location but this part of the city is kind of dangerous after 8 pm. In the night you can hear people yelling and screaming at each other very clearly. Free wifi is benefit, kind stuff too. No luxury, okay for one night. Better to get there during the day.
