Situated 5 mins walk from Lake Constance it has off street parking and free wifi.
Rooms are spacious and modern with large flat screen tv with usual news channels and BBC entertainment.The family run hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff I have known and speak perfect English. Meals were well presented and tasty.They also have a clever key board where you swap your heavy room key for a light outside door key when you go out.All in all a very pleasant stay

Good size room, clean, modern, pleasant decor. Awsome breakfast included and all fresh produce and beautiful displayed. Close to the old town and the lake. Friendly staff and good English spoken. Free parking and free wi fi.

A very traditional hotel.
Good: Everything is clean yet quaint. Friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet -- for a traditional hotel.
Bad: The key system is complicated and antiquated. Do the owners never travel to other hotels? Noise travels very easily in this hotel. The rooms are somewhat barren. There's a bit of a youth hostel feeling.

I come each year for the Opera Festival and have never found a really good hotel - until now. Rooms are simple but modern and well-equipped. Service excellent and very friendly. Dinner was really good and far better than you would expect for a hotel restaurant. Not cheap for what it is but understandable in the middle of the Festival season.

I was there as a family of four and we had two rooms. Despite being Saturday, the area was very quiet, the beds very comfortable and the rooms very functional. But most of all, we were impressed with the breakfast buffet. Although we were rather late, even shortly before the end of official deadline for the breakfast, they kept refilling with butter, fruit, or whatever else that could have been missing. When complemented them for this, their answer was simply that they wanted their customers to have great experience and if this meant that they had to refill even after the breakfast buffet was officially closed, they would happily do this. This mean that we could still take full advantage of a very extensive buffet and eat our breakfast in peace. What a great customer treatment!
