Working myself in the hotel industry, this was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been. When we got to the room, there was PLENTY of hair in one of our bed, the other bed had stains on the sheets and pillow cases were dirty (as if they were dragged on the floor). All this happened around midnight. I go downstairs to talk to the night auditor and he really didnt care... He answered back "well what can I do for you?" SERIOUSLY?? When I later got the room my mom saw HUGE stain spots on the linen as well... I went down again but this time with the pillow cases and the linens and asked him to move room (dont forget, it is now 12:30am and tired from a long drive). The night auditor said he had no more rooms available and the rooms in the hotel are dirty because the staff working in the housekeeping department were on vacation and had to call an agency! But who gives these types of excuses?? Where I work, we also have an agency that takes care of the housekeeping department, but you would never see a dirty room like this! The next morning I went downstairs to talk with Luisa, the person in charge and she told me that last night they had 5 rooms available!! Very unprofessional. Later on we asked for extra towels because we took a shower and we obviously needed more, I got answered back that we must pay more for extra towels and that they dont change them for 2 nighters. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. ID RATHER SLEEP ON THE STREETS BUT NEVER IN THIS HOTEL. Too bad I still had to give a rating of 1/5 this deserves a 0/5

Cheap good location only downside wifi is charged per hour and needs to be logged out unless runs down. Great staff and rooms breakfast ok just continental ask for eggs! Would recommend to all travellers good train access all around country

The room was comfortable and clean. A little way out of the centre of Bologna. Only learned of "tourist tax" on arrival with no official looking documentation available to read about it.
The staff spoke very little English (I don't expect this but if one of us hadn't spoken some Italian we would have struggled). They were very pleasant, though.

Had a nice clean comfortable three nights up there. Very kind and helpful staff. Clean room and nice service. Breakfast with bar good as well. Location just 20 mins max to piazza Maggiore. Bus station just next to the door. I was surprised to get a free shuttle bus service to the fiera. I will book again.... But for a 27 € city tax per three nights... It's a bit exaggerated ..

Although this is priced right and using the bus you can get to most places of interest we found the hotel to be poor. The bed has not comfortable and it was the worse night of sleep we had on the trip. The room as the smallest of any we stayed in and the staff was not very friendly. I would highly recommend staying some where else.
