When we reached to hotel at 10pm, it took another 30 minutes for hotel staff to vacate and clean the room. When we entered the room it was dirty and bathroom was not cleaned/hygiene at all. Food and dist was found everywhere in the room. Hotel staff wasn't cooperative at all. 3rd floor where we allotted room was not in good shape and adjacent to our room it was public toilet. The worst part of the room is found "bad bugs" in it. Finally we moved into the another hotel, adjustments done by hotel staff. It is overall a bad experience and will not suggest anyone to check-in to it.

The Gopinivas Grand in Kanyakumari was a great selection by me in the month of October while visiting Kanyakumari.
I want to describe in very short_ i made booking of two rooms to see their pictures online with Yatra.com just for Rs. 260 and Rs. 260, this was a great deal. Afrer booking i read reviews and was afraid after reading them because there was alot of negative reviews about the room condition and their services. Some people wrote that staffs are very rood.
But i took risk because i had to use this hotel only to get fresh in the morning because we were for one day only in Kanyakumari and were booked only a little amount.
We reached there in morning by 06:00am, done checkin, got fresh, taken breakfast, after visit kanyakumari, we took rest in afternoon and again after visit taken little rest in evening and lastly checkout in night by10:00pm. This was the schedule of our stay.
Now i want to say i forgot my risk of booking with simple check in without any issues, we had booked 2 non ac two bedded room, without any special request while checkin they provided us 3 bedded ac room with all 3 to 4star facility. After breakfast we took amazing complimentary buffet breakfast, i think the amount we had paid while booking was only for such a nice breakfast.
The service was great, staffs behaviour noticed very nice, smiley and pleasant. Room service is also 5out of 5. Overall 5marks out of 5.
All sightseeing, The Kanyakumari temple, sunrise point, vivekanand rock memorial and others popular places are on foot step. Just walk and visit all the sights.
We enjoyed this trip to stay with The Gopinivas Grand.
All is well, go blindly, dont think much, go, everything is good and above satisfaction, nice service.

Rooms are congested with poor ventilation.we book 8 rooms ,no room was identical.No hot water for bath.after asking received hot water bucket.Location is prime but no sea facing rooms.Walking distance to fiery boat for rock memorial.
Room service good and complementary breakfast was tasty.

Its the place where the luxury meets beyond expectation. They welcome the guests with fresh juice and the manager himself comes to welcome you. They give personalize thank you notes from their Managing Director,which is quite overwhelming.The rooms are spacious with clean bed sheets and toiletries.
Only one drawback is that hot water is only from 5:00 a.m to 9:00 a.m ,but if you call for room service, they will provide it to you.They are very hygienic and particular about even the smallest things of the room. The staff is very cordial and room service is also good. The location is very apt to the sea shore,sunrise point , temple and the main market place.
The food cooked in the restaurant is delicious and for the breakfast, they provide quite a variety and the biggest part is, its within affordable range.
We were very pleased and happy abut the hotel,its location, staff and facilities.

Stayed with parents for 2 days.
The best part of it is , very near to beach (walkable) and its breakfast.
Rooms are well maintained .
