It was a good stay... the hotel met the expectations but it's a bit farway from the center (not in km but in time of travel - traffic jam and bad roads). It s one hotel dedicated for events, like weddings... be aware that if you stay in this hotel you should eat inside the hotel. There is no restaurants nearby... in overall it was a good stay... and in the restaurant they tried to please you...

Extremely courteous staff who provide personal attention to their clients. A special thanks to Mr. Mrityunjaya for taking care of my spouse so well. We shall definitely plan our stay at Grapevine when we happen to visit Varanasi next time.

Varanasi is different to most Indian cities, actually is the city on our last month’s trip were I had the hardest time finding the best place to stay. Grapevine hotel is too far if you are heading for the Ghats and sightseeing’s close the Ganges as well as other sights which are nothing to be crazy about. This hotel is too far away from main sights, which is not hotel´s fault, but on the other hand, I don´t see what other use can this hotel have besides that… the surroundings of the hotel are not to care about. The hotel indeed seems like an oasis from an extremely intense city although the rooms are very much average for western standards or a bit below. The price although it was fair. Breakfast was nothing special close to mediocre. Staff is always helpful but it seems that is the same all over India. Bottom line, this hotel is good or not depending on your standards. The thing is, Varanasi is so intense that this hotel doesn’t offer that oasis feeling you get on other hotels in India.

My aged parents checked in into Suite 1019 on 03 Nov 17 at 1915. The washroom and drain were stinking. Despite repeated complaints to the front office nothing was done. The next day they went to Gaya pleading that the problem is unbearable and MUST be attended to. Returning to the hotel on 04 Nov 17 at 2100h they were horrified to find that nothing was done. Even the room was NOT cleaned. The stink was unbearable and had spread to the bedroom. When confronted room boy came with a spray and went away. The next morning a written complaint was given. On return, nothing was attended to and room was also not cleaned. Once again called Mr Rajeev from front office and another boy came. As they entered the washroom, parents told them to stay inside for 30 seconds and they came out in just 5 seconds because of the stench. This time they offered a shift to another Suite 3014 in the 3rd floor. As there was no choice, parents shifted, hoping for peace. The hope was short lived. That suite had noise as though some aircraft was landing on the roof. Once again parents made several complaints to everyone including Mr Tripathy, the GM who came to the Suite and saw for himself. But nothing changed . Parents resigned to fate and counted days and hours to get out of the 'hell hole '. Please DO NOT ever go to this hotel or recommend it to anybody, even your enemy. Food is very bad.

I used hotel Grapevine in Varanasi for My clients two ladies, Hotel is Good and Good services.
I Recommend to my friends and tourist Hotel Grapevine is a little outside of City But very Comfortable Stay.
