Visited Manali in Oct 2017 & stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent and quiet location - a mere 4 mins downhill walk to the Hadimba temple , and 20 mins (2.5 kms) uphill walk from Mall road (rickshaws are easily available on Mall road).
The hotel consists of two buildings - the backside one is newer with well laid out deluxe rooms and good bathrooms. 24/7 hot water available. Room heaters available at extra charge. Small but beautiful garden with swings, outdoor seating and beautiful flowery plants. Breakfast, lunch, dinner services was excellent with a lots of variety. During our stay, the in-house cook rustled up some Maharashtrian delicacies such as poha, sabudana wadas and even fried fish for our group of 6. We had two teenage kids who are now avowed fans of this hotel for a lifetime.
The service is the icing on the cake. Manager Chunilal Thakur handles the show efficiently, provides guidance on booking of local tours & excursions. He is assisted by a team of efficient & ever smiling locals who are quick on their feet.
This place is perfect for families and groups. Also frequented by both Kesari Tours & Anubhav Holidays for their group movements hence the cook is familiar with Maharashtrian delicacies. Driver's accommodation is also available on request.
Wifi is strong in the reception area and dining area but thins out noticeably once you reach your room. But not a pain.
Stay here once. You won't go anywhere else!!!

This review is for my stay in Dec16. I was having a tough time finding a hotel for Christmas eve and I found this good hotel online. I wanted a stay option that was in the log huts area. This was mainly due to 3 reasons and the hotel held good on all three of them.
1. I wanted a hotel in the quieter part of Manali. Check.
2. I wanted a hotel close to old Manali cafes. Check. Cafes are just 5 mins walk away.
3. I wanted it to be budget friendly. check (courtesy online discounts)
Bonus : The hotel is a walking distance to hidimba temple.
The staff was helpful and courteous, so was the manager at the reception. There are 2 buildings inside the hotel premises. The one that houses the reception is older building. Try and pick the building at the back that has Super deluxe rooms as it is newer and also offers good views of the village / green areas behind the hotel.
Would I stay here again ? definitely!

This hotel gives you very pleasant Stay.
Beautiful location, Amazing natural scenic view from the hotel rooms. Very Clean and Calm place to stay with family. We really enjoyed it. Food of the restaurant was also quite Good. V nice.

The hotel is located uphill from the main town center. A tuk tuk is best to get back after a dinner in town in the evening. Room was okay but a bit dated and not thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom needed some big improvements. The door was moudly and room had a bad toilet smell due to poor drainage and ventilation. Staff was helpful with requests. Breakfast was adequate with a good selection.
Overall, it was an okay stay but in need of some improvements.

Nice Hotel to enjoy in Manali.
Bathrooms are good.
Rooms are neat and tidy.. :)
Door are NOT good in the rainy season
All kind of trips can be enjoyable here.
Choose this hotel without any hesitation.
