This is my second visit at Horizon Resort and must say , I had a great experience. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was very good.
Staff are very helpful and polite.
Beach is just 700m walkable distance.

I am a bit late in writing this review as we went to Calungate in March of this year , however I felt the need to write this review before the Asian holiday season starts again .
After travelling to Delhi ,staying Delhi, train to Agra, train to Jaipur , back to Delhi then flight down to Goa,
We booked this hotel for 3 nights as we weren't sure whether it would meet our expectations, we lasted one night and eventually reclaimed 2 nights from Expedia who were more than helpful.
We fully understand accommodation in India as we had visited the year before and had previously had an excellent hotel in Candolim.
This hotel is , drab , dated , disfunctional ,noisy air conditioning and appalling food, if your not suffering with depression when you arrive you soon will be.
I am not going say any more but if you look back on old reviews the same has been said before, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!.
Fortunately we relocated to the wonderful Citrus hotel a block away and had a lovely remainder of our holiday

We stayed here for 02Night (14-16Jul), we were a Family, so it had the stuffs a Family would require namely, Good and Clean Rooms, In House restaurant, swimming pool, on call room service etc. However cleanliness in and around Hotel is a big let down. Friendly staff, location is very nice, only 600 mts from Calangute beach, would definitely recommend to friends and other.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Horizon a while back, we since have never stopped talking about this outstanding holiday which we had at the hotel horizon. The staff were polite and very helpful. There was nothing to much trouble for them to make your stay a memorable one ,The room we accommodated was fresh and clean the bed linen was changes every day regular this was common practice, the food was second to none and cooked to a very high standard that would make anyone proud to sample . My wife being a Disabled lady with Multiple Sclerosis was treated with the highest of respect , "you must tell the staff when booking your holiday so they know where to situate you to your needs on your arrival", we did this and was very surprised and pleased with how accommodating the management were. To finalise everyone involved from bar staff up to top management overseen the individuals needs with great respect, we haven't been on an holiday like it since, our stay at the Horizon would have normally been hampered whereas my wife being wheelchair bound was a task in itself, but the Hotel staff were outstanding, we stayed for a complete month from March to April 2008. This being our most memorable and beautiful experience of an holiday anyone could possibly wish for and imagine, considering my wife is very disabled she was treated to the highest respect I have witnessed on an holiday, On that note I THANK YOU Hotel Horizon for this episode in our lives to look back on and reflect our memory of quality ,courteousness and total respect which the Management and Staff showed us at the Hotel Horizon Calangute, it would be very difficult to find an holiday that would equal this ,...With best wishes plus our fondest memories,
