We loved the relative small size of the hotel. The breakfasts were delicious, and the rooms are very pretty. The staff could not have been nicer and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We love to stay at Marriott hotels

All was fine with the room other than I noticed the tub had a crack in it. I brought this to the attention of the lady at the desk and she said she would report it. Everything else was great with the room.

Very nice hotel, easy check-in and check-out. Great atmosphere and great location. Rooms were large, open and clean. The hotel bar area was great with an excellent Happy Hour. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

There are three things that matter to me in a hotel when I travel (which is a lot) 1. comfortable, quiet, well-appointed rooms, a comprehensive enough gym, welcoming and accommodating staff. Then after that is location. This hotel hit all the notes. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was divine, the decor and size lovely - and the staff was uniformly really awesome. The gym was fine too. The only issue was a sort of moldy/musty smell in the room. Then again, Houston is pretty wet.

Hotel was immaculate, service was impeccable, and my suite was absolutely beautiful. I originally planned to stay 2 nights, then at the last minute added a 3rd night just because. A beautifully restored piece of Houston history.
