My boyfriend and I just had 2 wonderful nights at this hotel. Only wonderful things to say!!
The suite we had was unbelievably gorgeous and absolutely huge!! The view from our bedroom windows were breathtaking and the whole place is gorgeous with beautiful fresh wild flowers and greenery all over the wooden trellises.
It's a very special place, family run, and spectacular views. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
The area itself is also fabulous.
Anacapri is a very special part of the island! It's not as built up and touristy (and expensive!!) as the rest of Capri and Marina Piccola. It's got great restaurants, good shopping, and you can easily go up the chairlift to the top if mount Solaro for the 360 island views.
We rented a scooter for the few days to get around and explore a bit; great way to see the island. A must do is to head down to have sunset drinks at the lighthouse - best spot for sundowners :)

Hotel Girasole is such a friendly and cozy hotel. We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon trip to Italy. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill and has a panaromic view of the ocean and offers a breathtaking view of the sun setting. We highly recommend staying here!

Very nice small hotel situated very close to the centre of Anacapri. We did have an amazing view from our room through sort of walking balcony To Ischia. It would be better to have it straight from room, but anyway it was fine. We think it is very nice to stay there sometimes in the evening and enjoy sunset. Hotel have a nice and not very small (though not very warm in the middle of May either) swimming pool. Hotel also offer free transfer from the port which is very nice. Our rooms and shower room was on small side (I think it is only one minus which i can say about this place). Staff in the hotel is very friendly, as well as local. I think we could happily stay in this hotel again if we come to Capri again.

Spent two nights here we had only booked for one however decided we wanted to stay another day! Our original room had a sea view which was a splendid view. Unfortunately that room wasn't available for our second spontaneous night but the standard room we had was absolutely fine. The place was spotlessly clean. The pool great and the views stunning! The lady working in the pool side snack bar was so kind and really looked after us. The hotel is is a great location in Anacapri. It's also a very reasonably priced hotel if you're on a budget you couldn't pick anything better.

We stayed in this hotel in July and have been very disapointed. To be fair, the view of the hotel is trully amazing and beautiful. But the hotel needs serious renovation for the classic rooms, it seems nothing has been done since the opening probably 30 years ago. Moreover, when we arrived the room was not cleaned. Dirty floor, soap from the previous client in the shower, teathbrush glass not cleaned after being used previously... After complaining about the situation, we have been offered another room, but there were musty smell... So we decided to stay in our previous room and the manager sent a cleaning woman to fix the room. Other major problem : walls are so slim taht you hear EVERYTHING form other room, you can basiclly follow the conversation of your neighboor without anyproblem. We haven't sleep for all night because our neighboor watched tv until 4AM. Regarding breakfast, poor quality. Hotel to avoid if you would like to ... sleep...
