It's a good Heritage Hotel with friendly staff. Food was average, view is good for the corner rooms. Accessibility with your vehicle or even on foot is an issue as the entrance (which is narrow ) and pathway (Steep) is thru Mall road, they do not allow entry in the evening.
Overall an average experience on an other wise good property.

We stayed here for just a night on a Dussehra long weekend. Which meant that the whole of Mussoorie was full up to the brim and there was no place to stand on the streets. In such a time somehow we managed to get a room at this place. Although the approach to the hotel is a bit difficult, that keeps its away from the hustle bustle of mall road and in a quiet corner of its own. The room was nice and very clean. The staff was highly highly cooperative and helpful. Overall we had a comfortable stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place to anyone.

Our family of 4 stayed in their Colonel Suite, 3 room from the left on the first floor, Old world charm with a modern Heater/ Adequate Rest rooms and a comfortable Bed.
A Lovely Property off the incline on the mall road, Walkable distance to quite a lot of places
Above all Mr Prem Singh and his team took care of us, An excellent initiation to the Pahari Cusine, Good Breakfast, and Good Service, We were made very comfortable
and Notwithstanding the Dussehra Rush on the Mall road and gave us a scare on returning back because of the traffic, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, Kids made use of the library and the Pool Table.
Would recommend if you are visiting Mussoorie to stay here.
Don't expect , a newspaper though ( We never asked for one ) and a news channel, We were truly cut off from civization and thoroughly missing now the times we had

I stayed at the Ilbert manor for 2 nights with my parents and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! A beautiful property, located just off the mall road gives you the best of both worlds: peace of the hills and excitement of the town within walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable. It's a perfect place to come with your entire family!

It's an excellent property with a location comprising of a blend of happening mall road and scenic beauty. The lush green surroundings and the calm atmosphere makes the stay a perfect hill vacation. The staff is very warm and cordial.Food quality & quantity are too good.Breakfast and lunch/dinner is included in the room tariff. The pick & drop service to the mall brings the happening life in few minutes to you. Overall a good experience.
