one of the best hotel near to temple

Good food. Great price. Good staff. Neat and clean. The only hitch was the time it took for the order to come considering the number of people present in the restaurant. Good location. Good ambience.
New property with a nice ambience. Rooms are decent sized with sofa and writing table with queen size bed. The layout of rooms and the hotel is nice. It has a small common sitting area which is very nicely done. Worth taking pics. Nice and helpful staff. It is on Ujjain Indore Highway and hence easily accessible. It is also near to Bhimashankar temple.
Very poor service for the price paid

My expectations from the hotel were not very high, but for the price paid, the service was very poor. Here are some of the basic issues with the service:
1. Requested for ‘fasting’ food in advance which is easily available in almost all restaurants outside. Hotel restaurant did not provide. Just offered a dry namkeen and did not offer to prepare anything else.
2. At time of checkin, used water bottles were not removed, tea bags/coffee were not restored.
3. When asked for tea bags/coffee sachets, was told I will be charged extra. I had to explain it was not provided even once.
4. Was told water and tea bags are complementary only once at check-in. I had to explain that I’m paying rent for every day, if I should check out and check in again to get things restored.
5. Complementary water bottles in the room were not sealed, they were used water bottles which were refilled.
6. Handed over room card for cleaning. Room was not cleaned when we came back after spending the day outside.
7. Room card was handed over to me without checking. It was not active and did not unlock my room. Had to return to reception to get it activated.
8. Rooms not maintained properly, no lock in washroom (room 329).
9. Restaurant’s breakfast buffet had 4 bananas which were not in very good condition. When asked to bring a couple of fresh ones, manager started arguing that this is good from inside, etc. instead of bringing fresh ones.
10. Basic amenities expected from a hotel in this price range were missing, for example a safe lock or at least a lockable drawer, eatables in the room refrigerator (it was empty), etc.
Stayed at the hotel during our visit to Ujjain

The hotel is situated at a good place. The property is good.Decent rooms. With little improvement in service could be rated excellent. We checked in on 15th night. We had travelled from Bangalore in Mysore Jaipur express .We had telephone d before reaching Ujjain to keep the rooms ready so that we could visit Mahakaleswar for Shayanarti. However after reaching the hotel we had to get the sheets changed again and dropped the idea of visiting the temple for the night.Except for this,we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.
Decent Place to stay

My stay at Hotel Imperial was comfortable , pick up was arranged by Richard at Front Desk who also was very courteous and professional while my communication with him for booking. Room was hygienic and comfortable. Mithun, who looked like one man show from Concierge till Housekeeping assistance was courteous and prompt. Food was good and reasonable with sufficient portions. Overall experience was good keeping in mind the tariff paid. Being a Hotelier would like to suggest to work on Houskeeping staff and their professionalism. Overall, value for money.

Visited this hotel with family. Hotel is near to Mahakaal temple. Food is good, however they need to improve upon the service part. Ample parking space. Free WiFi. Very polite and helpful staff. If you wanna try Chinese, south Indian or Italian then they have seperate outlet for it. Overall a good property with value for money.
