Spent 2 nights here on a business trip. The hotel is clean and quiet with comfortable beds and a nice breakfast selection. Close to a number of restaurants and a small upscale market if you want to buy some water, snacks, etc. Nothing fancy but meets all your needs. Would recommend.

Nice hotel with functional rooms. Great shower, AC, bed. Wish the room had a small refrigerator but ice was available. Good breakfast with more selection than in the US. Market and restaurants across the street.

I stayed for a week, the hotel service its really good, the rooms are good and comfortable... but!.... you have to be prepared for the noisy a/c that are inside the rooms... thats the only thing that i didnt like it... but in the end its perfect!

We stayed here for two nights and found it very comfortable and clean. It is near to a huge number of restaurants and supermarkets. The breakfast was really good and they have a swimming pool with sun loungers, tables, chairs, parasols and towels. Free wifi and coffee too.

The hotel was quite comfortable, quiet, good air conditioning, a fitness center and pool, a good breakfast buffet, and nice employees. The location was good, a choice of good restaurants for dinner right down the street. I had 3 days in San Jose before boarding the Okeanos Aggressor and took 3 excursions. On the first day, visited Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs. It was a very, very long drive, the volcano was partly covered by clouds, but quite impressive. The hot springs were a bit too commercial but relaxing and beautiful grounds. The best trip was on the 2nd day to Doka coffee plantation, Poas Volcano, and La Paz Waterfalls. The Poas main cauldron was eerily beautiful, stark and moonlike. A secondary cauldron was lush, green, and gorgeous. The walk down through the rainforest at La Paz with multiple waterfalls was exquisite. The 3rd excursion was just a half day in San Jose, a few nuggets, but pretty ordinary. I’m very glad I spent the extra time in San Jose, unlikely I’ll ever get back.
