The room and bed where dirty. There was a leak in front of the door with dark water. We left to look for a better place. We travelled India 1 month, only place that its ranked good while it is not. We wonder why it is good ranked.

This hotel is in need of cleaning ,on arrival no towels when asked one grey towel arrived. No bottled water in the room.went up stairs to check out the restaurant it was very grimmy. The waiter who came out to serves us was also very dirty with food stained clothes .we did not eat there.The bed edge was stained. The staff were friendly and the view from our room was lovely but that did not make up for the unkept state of the hotel.

While the location and views are very nice, it is not worth it. The rooms are dirty. The walls of the shower and the shower curtain are dotted with mold, the comforter is stained (I hope) or simply not washed. The floor is sticky in spots and dirty.
The power cuts on and off, along with the internet. Sometimes the AC blows cold air, sometimes hot... but really those things would be fine if I didn't constantly have the thought in my mind that I have to sleep in a bed that is most likely dirty... so disgusting.
And to top it all off, when we walked upstairs for a rooftop view of the temple at night, it appeared that one of the employees was taking a dump in the kitchen. Literally.

Hotel is located just near to the main entrance of Golden Temple and the langar hall. But except the location hotel is not worth to be stayed. Dampened walls with only a single light in the room and bathroom. Bathrooms were dirty and switches malfunctioning. Non cooperative and non responding staff. No other amenities in the hotel. Poor food quality. Just not a good hotel to be stayed.

loved everything about this hotel
the main thing i liked about this hotel was that it is extremely close to golden temple.it was like that you step out of hotel and you are inside golden temple
staff was good found no problem
