Stayed for two nights and probably not the best choice. It's close to the airport relatively, but really nothing around in walking distance. It's a very old school hotel with a under construction casino. The housekeeping staff were really cold but the others were nice. Rooms are fine and with river view. Haven't been to other hotels in Daegu so probably not fair to judge too much.

The check-in procedure was facilitated by a Korean-speaking interpreter, so I will never know if the smooth check-in was due to the interpreter or really good procedures. The room was spacious, the bathroom as well. It has the special toilet seat that does everything but cook. Breakfast at the basement buffet was also good, if extensive choices. Only drawback is few staff members speak English.

Hotel has grand lobby and that area is nice. Roos are ok and ac does not work properly but hotel staff are wonderful and very friendly.They go out of their way to help and make sure their customers are comfortable. I wish only rooms were little nicer. Only unique experience was,they had temperate control commode in the bathroom. That was kind of nice. Food selections were ok for vegetarians.

I stayed in the hotel from Thursday August 3, 2017 to Monday, August 7, 2017. The weather in Daegu was very hot. The AC in the room has not been working. I was told that the air conditioning was central and I could not adjust the temperature. They got me a fan from the office but it was still way too uncomfortable. The maintenance office staff also came into my room to flush out the system, but it didn't help to bring down the temperature much.
I wanted to get a haircut from the barbershop there but I was told that because I was a foreigner I would have to pay more. I was born here but I am a naturalized US citizen, and the employee stated he was instructed to charge foreigners more, I would like a call from the general manager explaining this to me, as it is discrimination.
To be fair they did assist me well enough to help ease the challenge of being a blind guest but this does not make up for the experience that I had with the uncomfortable room and the barber. especially considering my vision makes it difficult for me to go out to an alternate barber shop for a hair cut it feels like they are taking advantage of me.

Dirty and dated. All 5 rooms had mold in the bathrooms and stains on the carpet as well as leftover trash in my room. It seems that the only cleaning in the rooms were laundered sheets that had holes and stains and laundered thin towels. This hotel is in desperate need of a full remodel! Very uncomfortable stay and needless to say will never come back to this hotel. I'm writing this to help other visitors coming to Daegu.
