I stayed three nights in this hotel as part of a two week tour of Chile. The hotel has potential but the management was practically non-existent. We could only get food if it was ordered well in advance which we did for the night we arrived. The choice was either beef, potatoes, veg which was apparently served to those who ordered it barely warm and was, in their words, awful. About four of us ordered Thai noodles and got just that, rice noodles with red, green and yellow peppers scattered through it, no sauce, no other vegetables, absolutely unacceptable and inedible. If you wanted to get a drink it was a major expedition for the reception desk to find someone to serve you and when you paid for it the girl in reception disappeared for about five minutes to get change! There was no facility to get a coffee from a machine or a cold drink or even a small snack as this facility was not available. The pool was dirty and stank and you couldn't have used it nor even sat in the sun near it. All in all a real shame that this hotel is not being managed effectively.

Perfect for travel on a budget. Only a few minutes from town, but not suggested to walk. Very clean. Nice staff but a little slow. I would recommend for budget and cleanliness! They speak english but minimal.

Good to relax, close to main streets of San Pedro de Atacama, good and comfort food at the restaurant. The rooms doesn't have air conditioners, but it was not a problem. Parking place available. If you're going to an early tour, you may ask for a breakfast pack, it will be prepared before restaurant breakfasts.

This is a nice, reasonably-priced hotel by Chilean standards. Staff spoke good English and went out of their way to help with tours, transport, and any other requests. The only draw back is the location. It is a 15-20 minute walk into town, which can be very long on a hot day. They have their own restaurant on site, so it's not strictly necessary to go anywhere, but I did find myself not going into town for drinks and meals as much as I would have liked.

We were two couples spending a week in this hotel, booked through a travel agency.
The rooms are individual wooden chalets with rudimentary and low quality amenities. Staff - especially Monica - are friendly and seek to be helpful.
The location is a 15-20 min walk by a dusty (dark and cold by night) street.
The restaurant offers smallish portions of average quality food.
It is the type of hotel I would expect to pay 70$ per night for - but yes, San Pedro is expensive.
