    What People are saying

    Pathetic hotel..

    pulakesh20 on 21/01/2015 16:28

we had booked two road side best category rooms for our stay aprox. 3months ago but on our arrival dey offered us 1road side room and the other room was an BACK SIDE room it was stinking , no ventilation, water was leaking in the bathroom on complaining for the same they vacated a road facing guest room in which their own guests were staying and they did not even change the pillowcases , bed sheet. When we refused to stay and wanted to checkout Mr. Manish came out shouting at us saying dat HOW DARE WE GO ASKED US TO PAY WHEN WE DIDNOT EVEN STAY FOR A NIGHT.

Very small rooms and staff is polite

    VinodhHyd on 07/01/2011 12:04

Staff is polite but the hotel has very small rooms, it is difficult to stay for 2 persons also.
Rooms on their website and real hotel rooms does not tally, the are different in size and bathrooms especially are very old ones.
They have geasers in all the rooms and working fine. This is very near to the shopping and we enjoyed it. Room service is a bit slow, staff will be talking very loud out side your rooms which will disturb your sleep.
We stayed for 3 nights and day 1 it was OK, but from day 2 they have given a new water bore and the water was very dirty and it was not cleared until 2 days, we have no time no choice for changing the hotel so we stayed there only.
The water should be fine I guess by now.
Rest all is fine with this hotel and you can bargain for room rent they will reduce, its not worth to pay 1600/- for the room what they offer. So just ask for some discount and then check in.

    Friendly welcomng staff

No problems with this hotel. Room was clean, beer was cold, staff were helpful and friendly and the booked driver from the airport was there and on time. We had booked a Royal Enfield motorbike from Smart Motors (just around the corner - also recommended!) and used the hotel for our start and finish of a two week Rajasthan trip. The hotel kindly stored the luggage we didn't need on the bike trip - another example of their willingness to help. Whilst it is not a 'western' 5 star hotel, it certainly is a clean, friendly and central location to stay.
    I recommend this hotel.

    Very bad hotel

    PDun on 04/01/2010 13:22

I am not sure who has previously written reviews of this hotel but they must have been paid!! We booked this hotel based on positive reviews on Tripadvisor. After a train ride from Jaipur we arrived at our hotel tired but looking forward to the sights of Delhi. After a freezing auto ride we were greeted at the hotel by a man who was reasonably rude and not friendly at all.
Although we had originally reserved two nights when I walked into the lobby I had a bad feeling and said our plans had changed and we were more than likely only staying one. He was not very friendly about that obviously but in hindsight it was the best thing I have ever done.
We were given our key and told our room was on the second floor, not even shown where it was. When we walked in it wasn't too bad on the surface but the room was tiny for what we thought we booked which was their most expensive room. The bathroom was clean with a reasonable shower but it was a tiny Indian style one so the water went everywhere but that wasn't too bad.
When it came time to go to bed there was only one blanket on the bed, no sheet or doona, keeping in mind it was freezing outside and there was no heater in the room. My husband went to reception and was greeted very rudely when he asked for a second blanket. When the blanket was delivered by a very creepy guy it was very dirty but I had no choice but to use it as it was freezing in the room.
We realised how dirty the room was after walking into the bathroom and seeing what had come off the bottom of our feet.
During the night it was very noisy not just because of the streets which we expected, but from goings on in the hotel by the staff who were talking very loudly and had their TV on from the office (next door to our room) on very loud.
Overall a very poor introduction to Delhi. We checked out the next day and got a room at Yatri which while more expensive was clean and the owner was very friendly.

very pleasing people and food is good and staff are more loyal

it is a wonderful sojourn for me if not journey. Mr. kukerja is a very nice person and treats guests as his best friends. I even sent by welfare now and then and they do respond well.
