We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer .
On arrival at the hotel our room was ready although we were really early . The reception staff were very efficient and spoke several languages.
We were travelling with our small dog , who was welcomed in all areas of the hotel , as long as other guests didn't mind . We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant although we sat in the outside terrace with the dog.
The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable and our room had a balcony overlooking the sea - a beautiful location . There is a bathing platform and small shingle beach , with plenty of sun beds and places to relax , although there are lots of steps down to these. The pool area also had lots of sun beds .
The staff at the hotel went the extra mile to make sure everything was to your liking, in particular the bar and restaurant staff. The food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice .
The town of Cefalu is a 30 minute walk away , a nice walk , although it is hilly. A taxi was €10 each way .
The hotel has lots of free parking.
Next time we go to Sicily, we will definitely go back .

The hotel was fantastic. It is in a great location. At first we were concerned about its proximity to Cefalu. However, that was quickly gone. It is far enough away that you can relax yet close enough for a long walk or 5 minute drive to Cefalu. The swimming/bathing platform is something you see out of the movies on the cliffs which makes it very special.
Staff is fantastic. Very accommodating!

Visited for 10 nights Sept/Oct so pretty qualified to give and honest balanced view, so here goes!
The Wow! The View! Unbelievable! Not all rooms have the view we had, I booked a suite/studio and it wasn't cheap at €175/150 a night but looking out across the bay and the islands and hearing the waves you can't pay for and yes we had a fantastic time so mission accomplished.
The Just Ok! The hotel has a number of staff mostly really good, especially Angelo, top bloke, but they are let down by some of the female staff on reception. You have to ask them everything, you see they don't want you to go into Cefalu, they want you to spend your money there! Because their website is out of date regarding busses just to find out what time the bus was and where took about 10 questions. My wife asked if they could change a small note for change for the bus....."no"....that was it. I asked if they could arrange a trip to Etna for us.......still waiting! so they let the hotel down badly.
The hotel itself is nice but not really 4 star standard, our studio was IKEA furnished, curtains instead of doors...Ok, Just Ok. We visited the Hotel Restaurant on our second night because we would return if Ok, unfortunately they had to bring tables inside because of rain, organised chaos! The food....Just Ok! Much better quality and cost effective in Cefalu. The walk into Cefalu takes about 20-25 minutes at a good pace via a coastal path, wouldent want to walk it back in the dark, some of it unlit, we opted for bus or walk into town and taxi back at €10, you save that on a couple of rounds of cocktails, have a meal down town it's cheaper including taxi than eating at hotel. There are a lot of wasps at the hotel too, around the pool which is lovely by the way and at breakfast.
So conclusions, yes I would return, hotel receptionists might think they are elite but they are not, it's easy to see past them and do things yourself! , the restaurant, well go down town! It's beautiful! The decor, hey why worry the hotel is clean! And the price, yes there are cheaper hotels more central but don't have that view!

loved the room overlooking the sea. good bed. nice brakfast in room overlooking sea.
wonderful pool. one of the best of 2 week trip. water perfect temp.
and 10 minutes from the village which is fantastic maze od alleys and shops. truly medieval. BUT DO NOT EAT AT PLACES ON BEACH. reviews warn but we thot looked good. i order swordfish and almost threw up. i can eat anything except there.
go into village for really great food

This hotel is a resort type hotel. It's "ok" but a little overpriced, as it could do with a bit of updating. Lots of choice for breakfast although, due to the size of the hotel, more of a canteen than a restaurant. Room could have been a bit more up together for the cost BUT the view from the balcony was outstanding!! Wonderful sea views. Walking distance to Cefalu (up quite a steep hill) but a nice walk all the same. Great car parking which I imagine would be a challenge if staying in the centre of Cefalu.
