As soon as u walk in u are greeted with a lovely warm welcome, every staff member is absolutely lovely and helpful.
Rooms are big and clean with a fantastic shower that never goes cold!
The roof top has an amazing view of the Taj and is the perfect place to enjoy mornings and evenings on, best roof top in town I thought.
Walking to the west gate in the morning is about 10mins away and to walk back from the south gate is 5 mins.
Great hotel would definitely stay again!!

We had an excellent experience at Hotel Kamal. The room was clean, the location perfect for seeing the Taj Mahal and the staff went out of their way to help us. There is even a nice restaurant on the top of the hotel for you to soak up some more views post visit! x

Clean place in the middle of Backpackerstreet and a wonderfull view of Taj Mahal on the rooftop restaurant. The staff where friendly and helpfull. Price of room 850 - 900 r. Would defently stay here again. Would recomend the chai on the corner at the Eastgate of Taj.

The hotel is as close as any other to the Taj Mahal so convenience wise it is virtually unbeatable if you want to wake and visit the Taj for sunrise, moreover it also offers a nice rooftop view of the Taj. Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and for 950rs the represent great value if you're in Agra for the night to visit the Taj at sunrise. Staff were friendly, the restaurant food was average and wi-fi was just about ok. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice budget stay close to the Taj.

We arrived early at this place (9am) due to an early train, the staff were helpful but unable to find our booking as we only booked it the night before and they obviously hadn’t checked since. Luckily we had confirmation of the booking so they could see. We were taken to a room and we settled in until we realised that the bed was covered in dirt from the fan /aircon. My partner had a shower and (which was cold) and when he leaned on the sink it basically fell off of the wall. When the sink tap was turned on it leaked out of the bottom pipe and got your feet wet. We showed a staff member and they quickly moved us to the room next door which was much nicer.
The WiFi was ok, quite slow and cut out at times but it was manageable. The hotel checkout time is 10am but they let us check out at 11 which was really good.
The cafe upstairs is nice with a great view of the Taj Mahal. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff friendly, they gave us advice about what to do in the morning when going to see the Taj and how to buy a bus ticket without being scammed. I would recommend staying here if you’re just here for a couple of nights.
