The hotel was booked thru' ZO rooms as had to stay for just one night. We booked four rooms but got confirmation for 3 rooms only (in hindsight that was good). The location of the hotel is great walking distance from Saket Metro. Thats were the good part ends. Unclean rooms, bathrooms, non working geysers, non working A/C is what we experienced, that too after checking our rooms at morning 11.30am. They didnt have a single room without any problem. I doubt if they are serious about running the hotel. They dont have a kitchen and dont even have basic services of drinking water. The water connection in the bathrooms was very slow along with soiled buckets. In one of the rooms the fan height is just 6.5 ft !! Honestly, the rooms are not even worth Rs. 700. The hotel gives n overall shabby feel.
The hotel and staff lack ethics of a hotel, it is run like a personal house,

The location of the hotel is great, but it lacks the ethics of a hotel, the staff run it like a personal house, no adequate water supply, have to call again n again for water supply, food is bought from outside some hawker joint which is really terrible, and don't know the hygienic and quality of the food, the ac fridge in the rooms are said to be new but does not work properly, actually hotel is for Iraqis not Indians, hence this kind of service is provided, as without service, they get the revenue from these Iraqis, we got our supplies of mineral water, and stacked in the fridge, which got chilled the next day, and the staff came and took our chilled bottles and replaced it with their hot water, this was really maddening .
Very good Place!

Conveniently located near Saket Metro Station

Hotel Kehar Palace is walking distance from Saket Metro Station which makes it really convenient if you need to commute in Delhi or Gurgaon. Saket is on the Jahangirpuri - HUDA City Centre Metro Line which means that you are on the Line that connects Delhi to Gurgaon.
I travelled at around 7.45 am when the trains were not crowded. However I am told that the trains can get very crowded in peak hours.
DLF Cyber City Phase II, which is where I needed to go that morning, was a short hop away. There were plenty of autos and cycle rickshaws (yes they still exist in India!) to take me there.
The Deluxe Room (the next category is Super Deluxe) that I was provided was spacious. The room and bathroom were clean. However the walls could be better maintained.
I enjoyed the personal service which goes to show that smaller hotels can compete with larger one if they can manage to personalise the service to the greatest possible extent.
It would be good however if the staff were trained on the geography of the local area because they did not seem to know it at all which means that I had to rely on the internet to plan all my movements.
My rating for this property is quite heavliy weighted towards its proximity to a Metro Station.
good value

3 days in a comfortable room at an affordable rate with all the amenities of a 3 star place. Really close to the metro altho a little far from the nearest main market. Good thing was that autos wrre easily available at all times. Easy to find, helpful staff but the menu was rather boring
