We caught the Metro from the airport and only had a few blocks to walk to the hotel, from the Nørreport station. All of the tourist sights were easily reached by foot, or public transport, if you prefer. From the moment we arrived, we were well-cared for - the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was dark and quiet (at night) and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had a large, fixed shower head as well as a hand held one, which was great. The body washes and lotions smell divine and there was a small fridge and safe in the closet, which were both used by us. There is a breakfast restaurant as well as room service. On our last day, we left our bags in the storage room until we were ready to head to the airport. Great hotel - I would highly recommend it.

This hotels offers everything you could wish for if you go for a weekend break or longer .The central position is excellent for walking to all attractions.The staff are very friendly and nothing is no bother ,very helpful .The rooms are very clean and have everything you could want

My first visit to this hotel won't be the last! A lovely old building with character. The room was not huge, but totally ok and the bathroom was clean and newish. My room was just by the elevator, but the insulation is great and didn't hear a sound. The breakfast was fabulous and the space for it is lovely with the big class walls.
Nimat-spa is situated in the premises and offers great treatments, a couple of steam rooms and a big jacuzzi. I took a bambu-stick massage which was heavenly. Reduced prices for hotel residents.
The hotel is situated a bit off from the centre of old town, but within a short walking distance from the shopping street and the major sights. The neighbourhood is funkier and has really nice small restaurants and bars.
The Norrport station is close by and offers easy access to the airport (both train and metro).
The only inconvenience was a bit too warm room temperature for my taste. Still, better too warm than too cold and didn't bother to complain about it.

This gem of a hotel totally surprised me! I travel approximately 12 days per month but this time I was tagging along with my husband in a business trip. Having lived in Copenhagen and stayed in various levels of accommodations I was prepared for minimalism and efficiency. The Kong Arthur was both, but also wondering fully well-appointed with lovely touches of luxury, especially for this price point. The room was very comfortable and had exactly what I needed. Of course it’s a historic building so it’s more cozy than expansive, but I was pleasantly surprised that I lacked for nothing. The pops of color were especially appreciated in the normally white/pale Danish decor. Also, the shower was double what I normally see in Copenhagen hotels and even had places to put my own products.
Breakfast is a tough meal to find gluten free options so I was thrilled to have so many choices! Happy hour was an unexpected treat too.
The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make us comfortable during our stay. There was a snafu with our departure and we almost had to come back for the night we’d already paid for. Not only did they re-open our reservation, they were also quick to respond via msg so we kept our phone expenses to a minimum. In the end we didn’t need to return but I was so impressed with how the front desk personnel managed our unexpected request on a very busy weekend night.

A hidden gem. I’ve stayed here five times now and have always had a great stay. Delicious breakfast in the morning, very quaint bar for drinks after work and cozy rooms. The staff are pleasant and helpful too!
