hotel overall was 2.5 star quality . staff were not very hospitable and certainly lacked a degree of professionalism which you would expect reading the hotel overview on the internet. we have stayed previously and it was extremely good. the standard of food served in the dining room was of club quality

Interesting hotel to stay with regards to its heritage and the politicians who have stayed there. The hotel is quiet and well furbished. The young staff were polite, enthusiastic and professional. Limited parking may mean that you have to find a park on the street.

Stayed here in the family suite for 2 days while visiting Canberra. Really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. Rooms were very comfortable and great location not far from popular tourist attractions like the Old Parliament House. Ordered room service a couple of times...very generous servings of food. Great experience overall and would recommend to friends and family.

This trip was booked as a gift by my family and it was lovely. From start to finish the staff were extremely warm and welcoming, I received an excellent free bottle of wine as part of my stay and that too was a good choice. Very comfortable room with everything you could possibly need.
Very close to local attractions such as Ceremonial Park, Parliament new and old and the Australian War Memorial.
I would happily stay there again in the future.

This beautiful and well maintained hotel is well situated close to Parliament House and the Lake. Very comfortable rooms with good facilities. Parking is a bit problematic but most disappointing of all is the lack of customer service.
