Good value here and restaurant with excellent food and atmosphere. WIFI works and pool is elegant with sunbeds, plants, views of beach. Everything very clean. Close to airport - a ten minute drive (no more than 5,000 francs).

The reality is far away from the internet site photos and description...
Such a poor breakfast , rare even for low class motel.
Trully this pseudo hotel , with the bad service,poor maintenance,poor neighbourhood , no real beach...dies not merit much better than low class motel.
No value for money...

This was clearly my most terrible stay in any hotel. I am yet to find a hotel with staff at reception that is uncooperative, incompetent yet arrogant. This was my first visit to senegal and the reception that I got at this hotel was a very rude shock. Thankfully Hotel King Fahd Palace came to my rescue.
It was alarming how the hotel staff chooses to treat its guests while charging in excess of USD 150 for a night.
Very bad start to my stay in Senegal coz of this hotel.
Apart from hostile behaviour from staff managing reception, the rooms are very ill equipped. No water, no hot water kettle, no provision for making tea or coffee. Pathetic to say the least.
To top it all the hotel staff had the audacity to say that I could complain to whoever I wanted.
On asking for feedback form or giving access to their manager they denied both. This explains the level of their service.

My stay at this hotel, although short, was amazing. I rated for one night at this hotel but would highly recommend spending a week or more to truly enjoy it. I chose an ocean view suite with a balcony. The view was stunning as the balcony overlooked the hotel pool as well as the ocean.
The exterior of the hotel is a quirky bright pink color which adds to the charm. The ocean view suite is incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is massive and has a large tub that does allow two people to fit comfortably in it for those who are romantically inclined.
The location is great. There are an endless array of activities to do in the area and the lovely Ngor island is right next to the hotel and a short boat ride away. I would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway to explore Dakar or Ngor island.

I stayed for a couple of nights there, in the fancy suite facing the sea and the Ngor Island.
It was a bit pricy but worth it, as I slept with the windows opened, gently rocked by the sea breeze and waves.
Nice (and big!) bed, great bathroom.
Just walk a few steps, and you're on the beach and can take a nice walk around!
