We stayed two nights at this very attractive hotel overlooking the rugged coastline of Capri. Our room which overlooked another hotel, was perfectly adequate in size, the floors featured decorative tiles, as did the walls and floor of the bathroom. .Breakfast was provided in an upper floor dining area overlooking the gardens and sea. The usual selection of dishes was provided which catered for most appetites. Not outstanding, but a very pleasant hotel to enjoy the attractions of Capri.

This hotel depends very largely on its package tour clients from the Far East and North America. Consequently many people only stay one night on their tour of Europe and as result do not perhaps realise or experience some of the problems that exist. The reception area and its associated staff are excellent and most helpful in giving general advice and especially organising recommended restaurant reservations.
However management is not keeping a careful eye on the accommodation. I realise that late September is near the end of the season but there is no excuse for weeds to appear on our terrace and indeed it looked as if had not been swept for many weeks. Breakfast was average and not a patch on the ones we had experienced elsewhere in the Sorrento region. There is no need to have piped pop music at breakfast and dinner.I'm glad to say that this was only a feature on our first night for visitors aim generally for some peace and quiet when away from their hectic working lives. I would not recommend eating dinner here for although not bad it is expensive and there are far better restaurants elsewhere in the town.
The rooms, as other clients have noted in their reviews, are not well insulated and although it did not pose a major concern for us it certainly could cause a problem in the high season when families arrive. The pool is just adequate but would be on the small size in mid summer. The sea outlook from the terrace above the pool is great and there are numerous sun beds available. It is such a pity that management cannot get its house in order and produce a good web site and pay attention to the finer points of accommodation concerns for the hotel has indeed great potential and this has not as yet been realised.

I waited until the last minute to book this hotel. The best going for it is its amazing views and its easy access from the main square. The rooms need some real attention. The plaster was peeling off both the ceilings and walls so that I was shaking plaster off my towels before using. The breakfast was not great...
however our room appeared to be clean and the bed comfortable. Not a four-star hotel.

Very well situated, 5 - 8 mins walk form the main square and just out of the way enough so that it isn't too busy. The rooms are comfortable, bed in particular was very comfy and the views from our balcony were spectacular. (Not all rooms have the view - central rooms only). Great pool and sun lounge area. Breakfast is fairly average nothing very exciting there. All in all an good stay.

Definitely not a four star hotel. Limited number of staff which might explain why not very clean especially the communal areas. Lovely views over bay but difficult to see through the dirty windows. Unless you are Italian you will struggle to get a cup of coffee in the morning.
Otherwise OK and ideally located for the main square. Probably needs management shake up.
