This hotel is about 15 minute walk to downtown Aurillac. As such, it does not have much traffic noise. Rooms are generous size and there is a nice lobby and outdoor sitting area. The swimming pool was closed, as expected. Free parking. breakfast is worth $10. Not much choice of restaurant nearby.

We called up at 10 pm about 3 hours drive away from Aurillac to this nice place we'd stayed in a few years ago. The lady was great. She explained how to park, gave us the door code. Key was waiting at the reception. A remarkable quality of service that meant we could drive serenely through the moonlit Auvergne.

If you are travelling without your own car it is quite a walk uphill to this hotel. If travelling by car no problem. Very neat rooms with shower over the bath. Garden is lovely with a 25 degree swimming pool. Room is very quiet and if you want a cup of tea you only have to ask and a kettle,milk and tea bag will be supplied. Wifi not too bad. There is not a restaurant at this hotel and a walk down hill to referred restaurants is necessary.

What friendly staff! This is a very good hotel. Our room was lovely as is the whole hotel. We loved sitting in the garden in the evening with the best bottle of wine I had all holiday chosen by the owner. Unfortunately I did not write down what it was.

We booked one night with a room facing the garden and were not disappointed. It is wa lovely hotel with very nice, helpful and English speaking owners. We arrived on a scooter and I realised my waterproof trousers had been left at our previous holiday accommodation; as the forecast was rain the next day we asked Eric whether there was a suitable shop in Aurillac. Thankfully there was and he gave perfect directions and I got some replacement waterproofs within the hour.
The hotel room, reception and breakfast room are lovely. Bedroom windows have shutters as well as net curtains and lovely, heavy quality curtains too; it made the room very cosy. Cleanliness was top notch. The only slight criticism is the shower head did not stay in place so had to be hand-held when in the bath. Breakfast is extra to room cost and is usual European cold meats, cheers etc. No kettle in the room (not a criticism, just an observation).
I would stay here again without hesitation, it is a lovely place and I'm glad to have found it.
