Excellent location cannot fault that.
Sadly my 1st unsatisfied/sad review.
I used to love this hotel, I did like sitting with coffee at breakfast looking at fantastic restaurant views over beach area, but can't now as breakfast has recently been moved, to the dungeon/basement.
Stayed here few times now, sadly my last stay as hotel not what it was. Although lobby has been obviously modernised with new large sitting room and TV, bit pointless when rooms are dated, rooms are adequate but not worth the fee of over 100 a night for Seaview, I did get seaview room but expected better quality, but no, all extra cost is for view. I was given one on 2nd floor, room very dated old mustard coloured bedding, furniture all dated brown wood with an awful old cheap blue carpet ( with stains free of charge ). Balcony was a disappointment cracked tile or two on floor very old green worn out stained plastic table with matching shabby chair. TV poor, only one UK channel, news. The remote had a block on it so you could not get into TV settings and change language or use subtitles. Fridge locked, you had to pay get it opened which is cheeky after you pay more for seaview room.
Breakfast used to be in the lovely bright Seaview restaurant as you enter hotel, unfortunately it has been moved to the basement which felt more like a dungeon it is a dark dingy cramped room, a few windows high above people's head, enables you to see people s feet as they walk by... Very packed, chaotic felt like feeding time at the zoo....
I saw no sign of any waiters. I gave up as no table to sit at.
Walked to cafe few yards away and sat outside with good coffee...
Moving breakfast room to basement very bad idea ... Such a shame..
Overpriced dated rooms. 100 yards over rd 5 star costs nearly same!!

We enjoyed a 2 night stay here before moving on to one of the main resorts. Rooms are very comfortable and, if you have a sea view, the view from the balcony is lovely. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate, a good selection of hot and cold food.
We went up to the pool bar each day and can definitely recommend it - we were given complimentary mussels one day which were great. The chap who runs the bar is very friendly and cooks a paella on Saturday lunchtimes. We called in on Saturday for lunch before leaving and the paella was as good as any I have tried in a restaurant.

There are good things about this hotel .... it has a great location with the beach I few strides away, some pleasant bars and restaurants close by, comfortable and mainly clean. Friendly staff.
My niggles would be we has asked for a kettle for our rooms .... these did not arrive until we pushed . First one kettle with no cups etc , then cups after another request , then 2 days later kettle number 2 arrived - no cups ! One mini bar had an old melted bag of ice in it. The other one had someone else's empty water bottles in it. The pool is freezing . The food is edible. I would stay here again however for a very slight increase in cost you could stay across the road in the Gran hotel and spa which is a much more superior place

We enjoyed our stay here very much, the pool, the staff , the lending library, decent breakfast, comfortable accommodations.
We would consider rebooking, the snack bar by the pool was not opened, maybe next time

We booked Lancelot Hotel for our 11 days in Lanzarote. When checked in we were not told about hotel e.g that there is swimming pool on the roof and how to get to our room (we needed to ask about it). There is no kettle in the room or iron which is basic in other hotels. Food was amazing and staff lovely.
